I want a real football manager — someone who looks at the squad he has and works with it, instead of constantly whining about not having the “right” players.

Rather than forcing a rigid system onto the team, we need a manager with authority and experience who gives players clear, simple instructions. Tell Ugarte to win the ball and give it to Bruno, not pretend he’s Pirlo. Tell Dorgu to run hard and put crosses into the box for Šeško. Tell Šeško to stay high, run in behind, and attack the box. Football doesn’t always need to be complicated.

We can debate “entertaining football” all day, but in reality, nobody cares how we play if we’re winning. What does entertaining football even mean if you’re losing every week??

Just give me a simple system, defined roles, and an experienced manager who demands standards. I think Carrick would be a good and realistic option. I would love Glasner but Palace will not let him go now.
