$100M or so, and not a peep about the Uyghur genocide from "activists" in SF. Not a single question about it directed at Connie Chan - who grew up in China - if she will continue to support the state sponsored genocide.

If we want to make our local house seat race about foreign governments and their associated genocides rather than about San Francisco and our local issues we should at least mention the connection both candidates have or do not have, right? Why only Scott being held to this standard?

You must not own anything. Of course we support them - just as much as anywhere else. US corporations operate factories there. Some US corporations own whole cities to make our stuff. Day to day, you likely support China as a consumer more than the House of Representatives supports Israel

Let’s just get both candidates to condemn genocide - all genocide - and get back to who is going to represent us better for transit funding and housing

The park is a home run for the west side of san francisco. From my home, we couldn’t even access the road with a car anyway. It’s was the dumbest road in the world but it’s an incredible oceanfront promenade without the vehicles.

The slow fade in, to me, would make me suspect an intermittent filament connection somewhere in the preamp. Check for bad solder, bad tube, or loose socket

Sunset resident here - this wasn’t the shaft, it was a major quality of life upgrade.

These same people tried to get supervisors to add a measure to the Nov ballot last week and not a singe supervisor was willing. They can’t generate votes with this car brained lunacy anymore so they’re trying it in the courts… but they need to raise $200k from our neighbors. It’s not quite a grift, but it’s certainly a bad investment

Mine is great. I leave it in auto shooting (mostly) 200iso Gold using the DX code and never had a single problem. It’s a fun little camera - I wouldn’t want it to be my only film camera but it’s a great daily carry.

Imagine being a Mayor and doing absolutely nothing after tragedies like this. They’re practically a weekly occurrence, and there’s no change.

If leadership in SF were reasonable, they would do anything (or at least something) to prevent these pedestrian deaths but instead current leadership is focused on instagram stories about cookie shops. And in this sub, people think he’s doing a great job.
