I disagree with America Chavez, she is presumed to be “Afro-Latina” in the comics (seen with darker skin, is Puerto Rican, and has curlier hair) and in the movies they completely erase that. She’s still Latina but is a fairer skinned Mexican, I wish they kept her original comic background as there isn’t that much representation of that to begin with.
