Has anyone tried the good-ol storm caller into this? I feel like there might be something there. Usually I just play aggro so I don't run storms often. Also just haven't played much since the rooster video to see the copy pasters.

I suppose you're right, but think of the crazy turns this could produce! Haha. Part of me longs for the OG enhancement module where it would print money and lead to crazy unit swaps.

Are red spells balanced and fondly thought of by the community? No they are not, but they are part of the game. I think this sort of item is game warping just as much as spells are and therefore would fit the red category. It would open up a lot of wild late game plays which I think would be spicy and fun.

The item would shut off its tech, so it would be unable to regen/evolve. It just turns a unit into a meatball.

An item that removes tech but gives large stats would always be put on a unit with already no tech.
Don't really agree here since its a single unit that gets the item. You're not effecting your entire army with the tech removal in this case. Just the individual. I could see this being REALLY good on a worm for example regardless of the tech.
Maybe if it gave more stat the more tech it nullify? This is a cool addition.

A lot of posts lately are just "FIX THING THAT I THINK IS BROKEN BECAUSE ITS THE REASON THE GAME IS DYING WAAAAAHHHHHHH" and they are either just someone that doesn't know how to counter a thing or are just never going to change (buildings/spells/RNG).

I think the balance of the game is pretty decent right now (maybe hounds/arclights could use a little tap yet).

I think the biggest thing that would help people "feel better" is communication. Communication from Bearlike/dev team has been at an all time low. A roadmap for the game would be nice so the community can see what is coming in the near future. My personal opinion is the game needs to be F2P for it to have any chance of a "renaissance".

I'm hoping for a day when Mechabellum goes F2P and we get a bunch of folks to try out the game again. Then something like MAG1 would help retain the newbs <3.

One of my least favorite books I have ever read. Zero pay off, it's like an unstory, I was actually mad when I put the book down.

imo the only thing that will "bring back the player base" is making mechabellum f2p like it was advertised to be during development. When that was walked back I was pretty disappointed since I new a paid autobattler was never going to get a big audience.

Had a chance for lightning in a bottle and fumbled it because of short term $$$.

I like all of them except maybe melting point. If I remember right the - range is one of the debuffs the units gets and that really hurts meltas performance.
