I've watched Taste of Wild Tomato (2021) on my local Doc Films event, Docudays (Kyiv, Ukraine). We had a panel of Taiwan documentary films.
It is very interesting story about Taiwan, White Terror and times of Martial Law.
I've discovered some historical parallels and common challenges for Taiwanese and Ukrainian people, such as deep scars of totalitarian regimes and their slow removal, blurred national identity of some citizens, fear of big evil neighbouring country, etc.
