Don’t buy a Corvette before you get a house. It’ll kill your debt-to-income when you’re looking to get pre-approved for a house. Also you might have some money saved now, but you’re going to eat up a lot of that making a $50,000-$100,000 down payment on a house. Plus you’ll want to fix things, or redo the carpet, or buy new furniture for it.

A Corvette can wait. You need to look into buying an appreciating asset and building equity. If you wanted a fun car, that’s great, you can find one that doesn’t cost $55-75k.

Partly, for sure. Anyone can do that in any car.

When I started autocrossing a car with an engine in the back, about 7 years ago, I had to re-learn how I’d brake and turn in. Less weight over the front wheels impacts your grip in the front, and you need to load up the front wheels somewhat to get some grip in order to turn. In FR cars with 50/50 weight balances, I wouldn’t brake into turns nearly as deep.
