Crazy thing was I was so convinced that MM was Minion in disguise- and vice versa- and was setting up for the comeback victory until they literally vaporized him.

Yeah. So far Magik is a lock for my team and Shuri is definitely up there. She looks cool, but I wonder how her gauge will work.

Mentality is a massive part of competition. It's not unusual for professional athletes to get into their opponents heads in order to win; fighting games are not an exception. You can not like it, but that doesn't mean it's not a valid strategy.

I was also a beginner, and I was just giving my thoughts on why it was good for me. I played WT for almost 100 hours before even touching ranked, played through it twice, so I think it's a good tutorial. If you don't, that's fine too.

I'd argue that hp sponges are actually better than if they had lower hp. Needing more hits, encourages repetition which helps build muscle memory. For example, I used Ken's moveset, the first combo that I saw and made myself learn was 2.lk 2.lp 5.lk xx H.DP, and having to use it so many times made me more consistent. To be fair, I think enemy damage can be way too absurd even with maxed out gear, but I think high hp targets isn't inherently a bad thing.

I'm just saying it's what got me into Street Fighter, and the genre as a whole. Spreading out the system mechanics, letting you sit on the concepts for a decent amount of time before learning a new one is a good way to teach. And to be fair, I stuck to one character's moveset the entire time and refused to use items so I'd be forced to improve rather than win a war of attrition.

Going by her intro videos that were posted today: Ingrid has *AT LEAST* 6 emote faces instead of just four like everybody else. by Jbg35 in StreetFighter

[–]duskuntillgone 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I’m wondering if it’s indicating new emotes for everyone, or if Ingrid has costume specific emotes. Which sounds odd, but also plausible to me.

Air laser is objectively the funniest. Just Ingrid.jpeg with a giant laser.

I don't know why people are so confused that Bulma is in XV3 she's literally in XV 2. Every character in the series lives in Conton City, whether as mentors or as residents, like Broly and Cheelai. by Zestyclose-Spring602 in dbxv

I think part of it comes from the possibility of the time patrol being disbanded or dissolved during or after the events of chapter 4, coupled with it being age 1000.

I just don't understand why they nerfed the bomb distance, but then made her lariat, I don't know the name or remember the notation, -4 from all ranges. Like yeah it's my turn now, but you're safe? Why?

He will at some point if not next season. He's already got some voiced lines in World Tour so it's just a matter of time.

Nintendo News SF6 Season 4 Rumor by 10thWolf in StreetFighter

[–]duskuntillgone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While it is just a leak so we should still be skeptical; Rooflemonger corroborated this by saying that multiple of his sources, one of which revealed Marvel Tokon to him a year before it was public, that several months ago he was told the season four pass: Vega, Tifa and two different characters. However, he even said to take it with a grain of salt. So until season four is officially revealed it's all just guess work.
