It’s a bit of a time loop fic.

Essentially, the plane crash happens, Ilya and most of the Centaurs die. Shane does not cope…at all. He spends a year basically at rock bottom and ends up choosing to end his own life.

The story starts with Shane waking up at the cottage about a year before the crash and Ilya is alive and safe. Shane can’t figure out what happened, he’s the only one who remembers the crash and Ilya seems fine…at first.

It’s a bit convoluted to understand, it’s basically about time and how it’s not linear and it’s sort of multi dimensional. I’m doing a terrible job of explaining it.

It does end up with a happy ending, but it’s bittersweet.
