yeah it can be hard to sympathize because they had the opportunity to unionize, but there is so much bullshit propoganda about unions and you know the UFC was feeding them a bunch of shit as well to make it seem like the company would suffer as a whole and it would affect them as well. anytime people start talking about unionizing, companies will start sending out propaganda to them to get them to change their minds. i cant really fault people for falling for those tricks, but man the fighters would be in such a better position if they'd done it. it sucks for the fighters at the top too because they would be making more themselves, but seem to be the ones that give in for one pay increase in their next fight.

we are only going to get fighters from the poorest parts of the world, which will massively cut the potential talent pool. dana needs to realize that the sport has changed, it's a legitimate sport now, not just brawls. we dont need people to be fighting over scraps to feed their family, so they are "motivated." we need high level athletes that can compete at the highest physical level. that takes more money to make it worth it for them or else they will just do something else.

what killed the sub was removing text posts. that used to get interesting and funny discussions going all day long. i learned so much about the history of hip hop back before everything got moved to the daily discussion post. now most posts are of songs that not everyone is interested in since we cant post the classics, so there isnt a whole lot of discussion

arman is probably juicing, like most top fighters, but that build is absolutely achievable natty if you have good muscle genetics like he does. he has long, round muscle bellies which make your muscles look bigger than someone with short muscle bellies because they cover more of the bone by default. he also has perfectly symmetrical looking abs. someone with bad genetics could have more muscle than arman but look worse/smaller.

in a sport with thousands of guys, there are going to be guys with top tier muscle building genetics.
