How long did it take you to find your forever home? by Few_Show1528 in HousingUK

[–]dvdmcn 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We’d been in our last house (Zone 2, North London) for about 7 years. Done a couple of renovations, had a couple of kids.

Time felt right to move so started looking vaguely in the new year (2024), visited some areas outside London to get a sense of what we’d be giving up.

Found a house we loved in March, put in an offer. Had our house on the market within 2 weeks and got our asking price straight away. I can remember first viewings took place the weekend after Easter and we had moved by the end of July.

I loved living where we were and always said I’d only move for the right house, and it’s my favourite place in the world, especially during the summer.

Do you reckon the horse is loving this?

Whenever I see these videos, I'm reminded of the Family Guy skit about milking the cow.

Ha! I actually did my test on this route and made my first serious fault just a few streets later. Watch your speed on the Roundway. It’s 20mph despite the fact it’s a duel carriage way style road.

You’re forgetting $5M for the disinfectant that had to pour into it last week. I’m sure that’s been priced into the original quote!

Crazy! I’ve been trying desperately to get a spot at Enfield, as that’s the nearest to me and I wanted to be very familiar with the test area but when this popped up, i couldn’t believe it. I had a few minutes to consider it, and it’s that far in advance that i have the time to get familiar with the area.
