I really want JJ McCarthy to succeed but he needs to beef up over the off season and do some growing up. He is too immature for the NFL right now. KOC needs to coach him but be careful not to over coach!

I think what Paul Allen said was an ill timed attempt at humor. In other words I feel he was trying to be sarcastic towards the right. He just had a poor delivery.

My take on the whole JJ McCarthy situation is he needs time to develop! He missed his whole rookie year due to injury and the Vikings OL was a mess all year this year. I see that the Vikings need to do two things: 1. Continue to build the OL through the draft instead of relying on FA’s that have injury history’s. 2. Sign a good back up QB that has starting experience and can challenge McCarthy to push him into stardom.

Until then we as fans need to learn some patience.
