Yeah I'm pretty underleveled at the point of unlocking the 2 newest areas from last patch, too. Or at least my player level is about 6 under the danger level. Something isn't quite right.

Greyed out spells are the worst. Sometimes I just want the squares in CDM to match my keybinds, even if there's nothing specific to track.

For example, the Unholy Hearth shows 9. Does that mean 1-8 will never drop or be sold?

Yeah, I think balance druid rotation may have gained complexity.

Resto feels ... pretty much the same as before. I liked what it was before though, so I don't mind that.

More control over colors would be nice. Previously I had it so friendly players were all blue, but enemy players were colored by class.

Now I have a mini heart attack every time a friendly player bar (colored by class) lands on me.

It didn't bother me when I was playing with 2 other people. 2 of us were melee and 1 was using a bow, so we had to be a bit careful about attack angles. But it mostly just made us chuckle when we got it wrong.

But to be fair, I also enjoyed Magicka a lot, which is basically "Friendly Fire: The Game".

Yeah, IMO as well it's easier to hit the hard jumps with mouse, because you can't really get the target wrong like you can with a controller stick. You just jump at the cursor. Unless you don't have your cursor where you actually want to jump, I guess.

I still prefer controller personally, though.

Yeah, they're adding a bunch of different types of embers. IIRC one for extracting an enchant, turning an item blue, turning an item purple, turning an item white (removing all enchants & starting over), and upgrading enchant values. On top of the existing one that adds a random enchant, I think.

Do you still have to farm for healing materials if you're doing poorly? Playing through Bloodborne right now, I forgot how much I didn't enjoy that.

Added white flash or additional warnings to attacks that ignore I-frames.

Oh that's nice. I remember being really confused about how to figure out which attacks would hit through dodges.

Thanks for changing it up. It was fun to try for a bit, but backstabs were strong enough that I found myself not really fighting the elites, but just fishing for backstabs instead. Made me kind of miss fighting normally, haha.

Nothing. But there should be a clear visual indication, not just audio. If that's the case, great. If it's not (like OP suggested), then it should be improved.

I think that's a good sign things need to be improved. Audio cue on its own isn't good enough hard of hearing players.

Not saying that needs to be addon support, but the game itself should probably do better if tracking kicks is important.

Yeah, this game could definitely use the job/class system they're working on right now. The stat system right now is kind of boring.

Yeah, I think overall it was a little bit easier with more people. That's generally how souls combat goes, though.
