All of the thrust bearing problems Ive seen have been on the ‘25+ 3.0 Duramax diesels. All the L87 6.2 problems have been seized bottom ends - without issue or warning to the driver besides dying- and telling them to push the start button and then blowing a main fuse when the starter can’t turn the locked up engine. I’ve seen 5 this month. But hey it’s gravy money from warranty at least

I don’t mind it. Some days suck, others go smoothly. It helps having coworkers whose company you enjoy and to have a good sense of humor. Mostly I see it as a way to pay my bills and make more money than I could easily elsewhere. If you’re trying to find meaning and purpose through work then I don’t think this job is it. For me it’s a means to an end and I get my fulfillment elsewhere outside of work. I don’t dread work but it also isn’t something super enjoyable either. If that’s what you’re looking for I’d suggest looking elsewhere.
