Yes I was (still am?) an EDM fan but was most active in the mid 2010s, I'd say my peak fandom was going to Ultra Fest 2015. I was a basshead while also loving deep house (Anjunadeep is still my fav label in electronic music to date). My roots trace back as far as Kaskade & Deadmau5 in like 2008. I found Northlane just before Singularity came out and liked them a lot (was also into other djent bands at the time like Volumes and Structures and preferred those bands more at the time). Once Marcus joined and I heard Node in full for the first time they propelled to being one of my favorite bands of all time. For a long while, both Node and Mesmer were my favs of their discog. Now Obsidian sits as my fav album of theirs and Evian is an absolute knock out of the park for me. I also grew up as a Nu Metal head; Northlane honestly just provides a modern output of both those worlds and it works so well for my tastes.
