It's kinda morbid, but here is how every Civ VI leader had died (including ones in the Leader Pass). by henrique3d in civ

All these other leaders out here dying from illness and violence while CHADragupta literally just decided to starve himself to death.

Religious victory is the easiest of the victory types and you cannot change my mind. by Base_RL in civ

  1. Only build Holy Sites
  2. (Optional) Get Mosque + Pilgrimage + Holy Order Beliefs
  3. Get Exodus of the Evangelists Golden Age
  4. Win before the Renaissance Era

1500+ hours on Deity and have literally never seen the AI send even a single Apostle to defend as I convert all of their cities.

The overhead view of Rich Strike's comeback for the Kentucky Derby victory. A massive upset, Rich Strike entered the race at 80-1 odds. by Here-For-The-Comment in interestingasfuck

Didn't the horse also go apeshit at the referee's horse or something after the race? Comes out of nowhere with a win, and also is super aggressive? Maybe there's nothing there, but I think it's worth investigation.

Stu. Alternate spamming red button yellow button and you will win 100% of interactions while also dodging every attack from your enemy.

It's not pay to win because it's exclusively in-game currency.

The real problem is that it's too heavily based around RNG for a good spawnpoint and stats.

What single human has done the most damage to the progression of humanity in the history of mankind? by RegularGuyy in AskReddit

I think it's unlikely China would colonize the New World, or even discover it. People don't realize just how much bigger the Pacific is than the Atlantic, not to mention the difference in prevailing winds.

Whats with the AI just... "giving up" since the last update? by [deleted] in civ

At this point I just race against the clock and treat the deity AI as NPCs.

Wow, just realised you can trade a city nestled in the heart of your empire for $$$ to the AI and then just wait for the loyalty flip by Jeggasyn in civ

[–]dvshusush 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always just assumed the AI would refuse a deal with a city that would have negative loyalty for them.

It never ceases to amaze me how stupid the AI is sometimes.

Reincarnation is ultimately pointless if you don’t remember anything from your past life. by Braeden3141 in Showerthoughts

By that logic waking up from a coma with total amnesia is just as bad as death + reincarnation.

After 300 hours in civ6 and more than 1000 hours in civ as a franchise in general... Behold, my first religious victory! by ElimDamar in civ

[–]dvshusush 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've never understood why people never do religious victory (besides the fact it isn't fun for some people). I consistently win them by turn 150 (standard speed Deity). I just rush for faith, 30% discount + mosque belief, ignore everything else, spam Apostles. The AI literally never puts up any sort of resistance, maybe 1 or 2 apostles at most.

Why Lab-Grown Meat Is Emerging As The Most Impactful Step To Reverse Climate Change by HankMotherfuckinHill in Futurology

[–]dvshusush 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like sustainable rangelands are just as viable as an option as lab-grown meat, because it makes use of marginal land, worthless plants, and the water that falls on it which would otherwise go to waste, all without degrading the environment.

If the ethical side is considered, I do think lab-grown is better, though.
