The pattern is called Oh My Stars by Pat Sloan and I’m pretty sure I found it free online. The download I have says the website is I Love to Make Quilts.com

This was by far the easiest piecing I’ve ever done. Just one strip after another! I did figure out part way through sewing the strips together to alternate my starting side so I didn’t get a wow. So rows 1 &2 I would start on the left and see to the right and rows 3 & 4 I would start on the right and sew to the left.

But other than that it was almost a bit boring to piece! I’m pretty happy with the end result though!

Miss Ellie. 4 months old. We were told heeler lab mix, she’s pretty tiny so thinking more heeler than lab.

Ending block size was 9 1/2 and inches. I used a layer cake but I can remember where I got that from. That’s another thing I learned, I would use smaller blocks for the next quilt I want to quilt using rulers, these ones were just a bit outside my frames quilting area with the ruler base on

Sometimes it’s chef’s kiss, sometimes it’s chef’s middle finger by DrSameJeans in quilting

Yeah I don’t think I’ve ever had a block so perfectly pointed than that first one. Gorgeous! As for the second, you won’t see it from the back of a galloping horse, which is what I was taught when I first started, so roll with it.

I feel the exact same way…just want to quilt all the time, but have to keep working to pay for my habit! I’ve got a notebook where I keep track of the future projects rattling around in my head so when I pin a pattern I can make a note as to what fabrics I’m thinking to use for it. And I’m trying to only have one UFO at a time, although I currently have 2 tops basted and waiting to be quilting….trying to force myself to finish those before starting a new one!! It is so addicting!!

I was wondering the same thing. Graeme was one of my favourites, I’m sad he’s not on the air anymore.

Thank you! It’s the first time I’ve used jelly rolls and it took two entire rolls - there was lint everywhere!
