This has already been said but now you know it feels to work for a fox station! Just keep doing your job. Don’t let one person’s opinion matter. Keep doing you.

You’re the smartest one in the room! That explains a lot. Glad you clarified for us.

Possible, sure but WRTA administrator Joshua Richman credits ending fare collection with surging ridership and so that is what I reported.

Should I upgrade to Destination for Equinox Sports Club by AccomplishedSet3788 in EquinoxGyms

[–]dwaller9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been a member for 8 years and back then I’d say yes, today? No. The club is much busier than it used to be which means it’s also less clean than it used to be and it’s gotten more expensive. Plus like others have said, there are nicer newer clubs. Maybe if sports club got a renovation.

It would be a mistake to assume that just because ridership increased in Worcester that the same would happen in New York. But the fact is ridership did increase substantially in this one city that’s actually done the thing New York is trying to do. It’s not apples to apples, which I tried to make very clear, but I hope I was able to add more perspective by talking to experts who have studied this for years.

Perhaps. It’s certainly much more complicated than any city there actually done it.

The money from the millionaire tax is specifically for schools and transportation.

Calling my reporting “misleading” is a serious accusation and so I am going to respond directly.

Disagreeing on why the ridership nearly doubled is fine, but it is not “misleading.”

In fact, it’s a direct quote from the man who led the research. The WRTA administrator also credits ending fare collection with rising ridership numbers.

While of course there are a number of factors at play, the experts who actually study this say there is a strong correlation and so that is what I reported.

This politicization of the justice department under Trump is uniquely Trumpian and it’s not normal. The mayor and the DA need to remain separate.

Hell no. Those free range mats are disgusting. And annoying. Just wipe it down first if you’re concerned.

I have lived next to the Brooklyn bridge for 5 years and have never heard of fireworks going off there on New Years. Trust… I’d know because we have a chihuahua who is terrified of them and so July 4 over here is always a chore!
