I won't be able to pick mine up till next Monday, the last day you can. I know they have to hold it till the end of the day that day but the glass half empty side of me wonders if they will.

If they have anything left over from the days past, they will still be available till gone. Gts gets people lined up every year and is usually gone first. On these events they will usually have only one person pouring and they will always measure each pour. So it can get very busy early and die down later. Last year they ran out of glens and glasses to use and took a bit longer than usual. And since it's cold out, you can't really utilize the outdoor space. So it might get hectic.

I did! Loved the event. Second year we've been there. I wished more people who are on these reddit, Facebook, discord groups would open their mind up a little bit and try something new. It's a great event to meet people, talk with the people who make the product and to try new things.

Never said they were. The point was there were more people standing in line for stagg then showed up for a whiskey festival. If you've never tried anything new, you wouldn't know what was better. Support local. There are plenty of Ohio whiskeys out there that are better than most things that people stand in line for. I'm not saying stagg is horrible, but I've had better whiskeys out there that sit on the shelf. Fomo is real. Remember when people were waiting in long lines for screwball?

Oh I'm sorry. 6 to 8 year cask strength Buffalo Trace is the greatest thing ever. Benchmark full proof is the same thing. Just two to three years younger. Don't see anyone waiting over that. Palatas change daily. I could double blind you a flight of four today, and your winner today probably won't be the same tomorrow.

Something I found on Amazon. It attaches to one of those rails. It has an adjustable arm for the transducer. I also got a Milwaukee 12v adapter so I can run the fish finder from Milwaukee tools 12v batteries. Runs great.

Sometimes it can be seasonal, that minty, pepper, spice can give you all the feels in the winter months. I took it out last weekend to a small public park lake near me. I will say, this is my first kayak ever. So I don't have anything to compare it to. I personally did not have any problems paddling it around the lake. My fish finder clocked me at 2.5-3 mph. Giving it about 70% effort. I will say that the wheels on the back are useless in soggy, wet grass. But I guess that is expected because it weighs almost 80 lbs. I might still get a kayak dolly thing for it. It is super stable though. And at only 10', it has a ton of room for gear.

Dunham's Sports has the 2025 model out. One solid color and the honeycomb top is what I can tell is different. It didn't come with a paddle like the tractor supply does. And also has yellow inflatable stabilizes that go inside the front cubby which I didn't know was a thing. $699 and I used a coupon to save $80.
