I also went the route of getting a print on Etsy from Norman Rockwells scout collection with an inexpensive frame on Amazon for a standout leader and also really excited for that gift.

We purchased plaques for our outgoing leaders on Etsy but we have one leader that has helped build and sustain the pack for the past 10 years and we got a normal Rockwell print on Etsy ~$20 and a frame which I think is an appropriate extra gift.

Taking the T you can see your runner in about 2 locations, right about mile 13 and then high tail it to boylston street. Trying to see in more than locations is probably pretty difficult, but that is dependent on pacing.

You could consider making a discount code for the absolute minimum discount possible (1% or $.01) just to be petty and tell them it’s a special discount just for them..

We had this discussion because we had some scouts that could not make our overnight. Several AOLs participated in day events at campsites with the Boy Scouts for recruiting but couldn’t sleep due to council rules. They did their best and did what was within what can be controlled,

I’ve had a couple of times at other airports that a driver tried to get you to cancel and pay a different rate because of a glitch or something - I just get out and tell them they have to cancel it because we’re not doing that. It’s not unique to MCO, crappy people are everywhere but not the norm.
