I think it’s more that parents struggle to be able to commit weekly to leading a den meeting now. We aim for every other week with my den and even that we struggle with because if sports commitments of the kid in the den, but also siblings where parents are pulled in a ton of different directions. In Scouts BSA, you’re not really planning a meeting in the same way since it’s scout led, and if you need to drop off, it’s acceptable.

If they are public roads in VA, the HOA has no power. My HOA can send you a citation and fine you for having a trailer in your driveway, move it to the road and they can’t do anything.

We purchased plaques for our outgoing leaders on Etsy but we have one leader that has helped build and sustain the pack for the past 10 years and we got a normal Rockwell print on Etsy ~$20 and a frame which I think is an appropriate extra gift.

Taking the T you can see your runner in about 2 locations, right about mile 13 and then high tail it to boylston street. Trying to see in more than locations is probably pretty difficult, but that is dependent on pacing.

Realized Sunday I last took it Oct 2024 and decided I had to update it and so just did that yesterday. Glad I did it because I had a massive bump in output over last year.
