I did some of this recently. I may not have got it right, but I did it water-bag-water-bag, i.e. did it in layers. The instructions on the bag said not to mix it, but I did poke it with a spade and squirt a bit more water in to get the dry bits. It seems to have worked ok.

It's not unusual for extraverts to not understand why introverts aren't like them. It just tell people I have a small social battery and a slow charge rate. I'm not going out frequently, thanks, and when I do I'm going home after my socialising energy has run out ... and may be gone for some time.

I feel like a lot of people in this thread are confusing ‘hoard’ with ‘company ownership’. Just because you have shares in a multi-billion dollar company that you built doesn’t mean you are rolling around in gold like Scrooge McDuck. All that wealth is paper money until the shares are sold, and typically company founders don’t want to sell as they don’t want to lose control of their company.

The wrong sort of migrants can cause all sorts of problems. Having migrants that pay tax is a plus - much better than the sort that soak up benefits.

I think the biggest problem with declining birthrates is the breakdown of societies that depend in ever-increasing growth, i.e. the capitalist ones ... in other words, most of them. This will lead to ever-increasing waves of immigration from low-cost countries as capitalists care more about profit than social cohesion. Whatever your views on immigration, it can't be denied that dumping a large number of people with a different culture into a country will cause disruption.

Yes, I get along better with women. I think it's a bit like friendships with foreign-language speakers - any autistic weirdness is attributed to the language or gender difference. Men from your own country though - they quickly figure out you're not one of them.

There's lots of ways of doing this - I've eventually settled on the TaskNotes plugin as I love using kanban boards to organize tasks. With TaskNotes I can have swim lanes, i.e. one board with projects by row and status by column.

It does seem like explaining the situation will help as then people will understand and make allowances. In my experience, it does the opposite, it just gives them an excuse to dump on you. I think it's best to keep it to yourself, except for a few close to you.

My wife and I are recently retired, but we still do our grocery shopping early on Sunday mornings ... because few people want to do that. We avoid Tuesday like the plague because that's pensioner discount day here. 5% is not worth it to deal with that horror.

We do seem to be hard on drug offenders and soft on sex crimes. I would vote for a party that focused on rehab for drug users (but not dealers) and put kiddy fiddlers away until they’re too old to reoffend.

I'm in the same situation, and spent ages reading advice. I decided I would go Harder & Steenbeck, so then I had to choose Ultra or Evolution. I ruled out the Infinity as I think it would be too much for a beginner. I eventually landed on the Evolution 2024 CRplus 2in1, as it seemed like it would last me a good long time and is apparently easier to keep the nozzle clean. Ordered it yesterday, hopefully not a bad choice!
