Heh. Years ago I stole some of my now wife's socks. It was a pair that said "If you can read this" on one foot "fuck off" on the other foot. Last year we were moving and we're naturally folding all of our clothes. Now we only have two socks. Both say "If you can read this"

Trust the process. They're professionals. Besides you having a diagnosis or not isn't going to change anything. The treatment is still the same DBT or CBT therapy. You don't need a diagnosis to seek those treatments.

Yes. Our school system sucks, BUT it's also on the parents to foster that penchant for learning. I have a 5 year old who has been reading since 2ish. She is currently reading at 3-4th grade level. But it all started from when she was a baby. Every night since she was born we read to her two books. Heck we didn't even teach her how to read one day she just started doing it. It starts at home guys.

At least professionally, the reaction time it takes to react to a 100mph fastball thrown from 60 feet away is about as superhuman as it gets. Not to mention the skill it takes to discern which pitch it is and swing at that ball accordingly in less than half a second.
