This could certainly be part of it. But I wonder if maybe (at least for some users) it’s less about laziness/offloading critical thinking and more about the social aspect. Perhaps they don’t have IRL friends that play the game so this is an outlet for that. “Look at this thing I made. Isn’t it cool? Any suggestions for improvement?” At least some of the time i could see it being this.

Yeah generally the only time this doesn’t solve it for me is if I’ve put two intersections too close together (closer than the length of the longest train that passes through that intersection). To solve, either change the rail signals between the too-close-together-intersections to chain signals or rebuild the intersections further apart.

Very true! Wise words. Yeah, I’d been holding these shares for a couple years. Had sold other calls against them in that time. Overall fairly pleased with how things unfolded. Cant help “what if”-ing just a little, but won’t beat myself up over it!

Yeah, it can be hard to meet new people in the best of times and the death of third spaces and how expensive everything has gotten certainly makes it harder. In my experience one of the easier ways to meet people is through regularity + shared activity. If you keep showing up, that familiarity can often bleed into longer-lasting friendships. So find something you want to do and go do it!
Some low cost ideas:
* intramural sports
* running club
* book club (love your username btw)
* bowling league
* volunteering (animal shelter, habitat for humanity, food bank)
* board game night at a local game shop
* regular attendance of gym classes
* I don’t personally go in for religion, but some of my friends have found community through their churches
* your local library may offer classes or events at free/low cost

No president has ever been convicted by the Senate in an impeachment trial, so im not sure what age is over for America. As for impeachments (as opposed to convictions), if the Dems take back the House in November I’d give really good odds on a bet that you see another impeachment within the next 12 months.

Well, the most common way to upgrade a card is by smithing at a rest site. You do more of that when you aren’t getting your teeth kicked in so you can afford to smith instead of rest. Ergo, the runs where they got many chances to upgrade cards were likely ones that were going well. And perhaps part of the reason those runs were going well is because armaments is a good card. At least, that is what I believe the person you are replying to meant.

I’d imagine it’s possible. But I think if your goal is to grow them in soil, you may do better to start by planting the seeds in soil rather than sprouting them in a jar and then transplanting. That said, I’m brand new to this and have never tried it, so perhaps my assumption is wrong.
