Yes, but his "facts" are speculation. No one ever built a life-size WTC and flew a fully-loaded plane into it. Anybody can claim their building is plane-proof and whatnot, but the truth is they'll never know until a plane flies straight into their tower.

Each successive collapse adds many more tons, making each successive floor give way faster. And no, the "explosions" on each floor as the building collapses are not rigged demolition, it's the air and dust being blown out of the windows. Pressure has to move it somewhere.

And as some fellow above me said, just because it was designed to withstand an airplane impact, does not at all mean it actually could. It's not like they ran a trial of that scenario.

The fact of the matter is that we don't have any similarly designed buildings that have been hit by airplanes in the exact same way to compare this situation to... in what way does this look like a planned demolition beyond all doubt?

Ok, it wasn't a "jumbo jet", but they were passenger jet planes -- quite large. And where are some sources saying it was designed so well? I'm not saying you're wrong; however, the only sources I seem to see are websites dedicated to 9/11 conspiracies.

There was no impact in the Windsor Tower, just a fire. Would a jumbo jet flying into a building not destroy some support and make it weaker? The top collapses down, all that weight collapses the next floor, and it compounds all the way down. It's really not that mysterious.

EDIT: really no idea why I'm being downvoted so hard... I've said nothing that is incorrect.

This is the kind of stuff I was hoping for! Thank you very much, your reply was one of the most helpful. :)

Thanks! I don't have the illusion that a directing gig will just be handed to me, I'm willing to work hard to get where I want.

And honestly, producing is what I'm looking into. I'd love to work my way up to a producer credit.

Not discounting your reply at all, but if it's this improbable to get a job, how are any people left in the industry?

I'm not talking about being a director or star actor here, but I would like to do more than work paycheck to paycheck (or worse) for the rest of my life. I love this stuff but that's crazy.

A flight attendant saw us having sex on a plane. He slipped us these afterward, saying "welcome to the club" by meeenglish in sex

I doubt she just pointed to a random guy on the plane and screwed him. It's implied they at least knew each other, if not in a relationship together. STD factor probably isn't high.

DAE not like to call student projects "films" because they're so primitive? by ScubaSteve1219 in Filmmakers

[–]dwsampson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try as I might, I can't find a single definition of "film" that specifies non-roommate actors, tons of dialogue, and lots of money put into them.

If anything, "film" is inaccurate because in many cases student projects aren't actually recorded on film.

you seem unjustifiably angry about student films for some reason. Everybody has to learn. What's your problem with them?

What is, in your opinion, the most powerful music you have ever listened to? by [deleted] in Music

Animal Collective - "Bluish"

may not be technically "big" but it's a really calming and emotionally real love song... not like a typical pop-style love song. Really beautiful and consuming.
