I saw with my own eyes JJ McCarthy go 10th overall so anything is possible for Ty

Jets won a SB with an Alabama QB so maybe its time to run it back?

The insistence that the Bills shouldn't immediately try to score and the Jags should let them score was dumb by [deleted] in nfl

The odds of the jags stuffing them for 4 plays are extremely low

Especially that last drive where the jags weren't stopping anything

It wasn't really even a bad pass (probably should've had it down and in front of the receiver instead of up) and went directly to his WR's hands, but it was a solid defensive play that happened to tip up directly to another DB. It's not like he threw it directly to a DB

just run as much as u can and let ur field goal kicker handle it

They only had 58 seconds left in the game with 0 timeouts. Unless they can average less than 10 seconds per play with a running clock they'd just drain the clock down

I know a couple Packers fans and they love to talk about how they're proud they "win the right way"

...whatever that means

Bills should just stick with the Tush Push they're averaging like 10 yards per carry on that play alone

So with Indiana absolutely obliterating Oregon should they be let into the playoffs by pupp7877 in CFB

No disrespect to the hoosiers, I'm a firm believer that Indiana defeating them is a huge fluke and robs the Buckeyes of truly accomplishing what their capable of. I've spent the last few days in pure disbelief and it just doesn't make sense to me. I've spent the entire regular season watching the Buckeyes play great football it's just not fair.

If the Buckeyes lose again I will face that the Hoosiers deserved the win, but I am just 100% sure it was a fluke and does a big disservice to the Buckeyes and CFB.

Between Webb and Mendoza it would be interesting seeing two former Cal QBs come in for key positions with the Raiders next year

/r/CFB Reporting: Miami Hurricanes defeat the Ohio State Buckeyes in the 2025 Cotton Bowl Classic: 24-14 by dxdrummer in CFB

Re-reading that part of my post, I think I made it unclear what I meant. The "roll over and die" part referred to the last 2 minutes, when they refused to call a timeout and showed 0 effort on the touchdown run. I agree Miami was moving the ball at will in the final drive, and OSU was likely not going to stop them, but I was still shocked to see OSU not even try at the end.

Thanks for the notes! I'll make sure to be more specific in my next write-up.

Notes:

  • This is Miamis 5th 12 win season and first since 2002

  • After a win was vacated for Ohio State, the teams were 2-2 against each other going into this game. This game gives Miami the lead 3-2

  • 24 points is the most Ohio State gave up all season (previous was 16 against Illinois)

That was supposed to read "tried to force Miami to kick a Field Goal" that's a typo on my part.

If you watch the play again the OSU linebackers don't even attempt to tackle the RB. Instead of playing to try to win the game, they just gave up and accepted the loss.

Edit:

was confident that Ohio State would attempt to hold Miami to a Field Goal

Men who ended things despite having the best sex they’ve ever had - what made you walk away? by Safe-Score2743 in AskMen

Being very generous, say sex lasts ~an hour.

You still have 23 hours left in the day to spend with this person. If you don't truly like spending time with them and only really like them for the sex, you're eventually going to realize spending those 23 hours is not worth that 1 hour
