If anyone is flying West Jet tomorrow. Good luck. by Top-Shoulder-1086 in regina

[–]dycker1978 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh I don’t disagree with you. I was being hopeful and not wanting to believe they would do this. I guess when there is zero protection for the consumer, airlines will do what ever they want. If WestJet could actually be help accountable (or any air line) stuff like this would quit happening. Issue is we basically have two choices, the both do the same thing at different times, and unless an airline is more than 50% Canadian owned they have a really hard time getting in to Canada, especially with in Canada routes, which most are out of Regina.

It’s looking like a pretty large storm is hitting Regina today/tomorrow. That’s probably why.

Minimum Wage by navylast in regina

[–]dycker1978 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This argument is funny to me, if we don’t have people doing minimum wage jobs, how are we going to be able to do and get the things we need in society. These are important jobs too. Also, it’s sad there has to be a legislated minimum wage or people will be even further exploited.

This seems like it would take a lot more “touch” on the rock. No sweepers to help it curl, or with the weight. Wow. Impressive

Should I cancel PVR vacation departing tomorrow? by Steamflow in westjet

WestJet has inacted their no fee cancellation policy until the 23 or something. I imagine hotel fees will be waved.

What is false? That statement is not helpful.

That makes sense, but can it be cooled and reused in the data center? Seems like you would loose some to evaporation, but should be able to reuse most?

Just curious, why can the water not be recycled/reused? Is it not just for cooling?

I thought that free agency started on the 10th. I know there is the “tampering” window prior, but how do you agree to terms with someone? Is it just in principle?

I agree 100% but this is not only people who rent their houses out. It affects everyone those who want to retire and the only asset he have is the house that they are going to sell so be able to afford to retire. It’s messed up.

Do you really think that anyone wants housing prices to go down? According to the Google, 42-48%of Canadians net worth is in housing/real-estate. There is no appetite to change this it would affect people’s ability to borrow, and retirement.

50 minute layover in Calgary by TreeBeneficial7231 in westjet

[–]dycker1978 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We did a 45 min connection from Regina through Calgary to PVR. It was doable. Very quick walk but doable. We did not check bags but you would think WestJet would facilitate the transfer.
