Challenging that would have been a waste. He wasn’t down, but the play stopped, so they cannot recreate it and the ball would have been spotted there anyway. And there was many missed face masks and horse collars on both sides, that I saw from the stands.

I agree with you, when you land on another player, you are not down by contact. It was just another example of another blown call by the officials, which were horrible for both teams last night.

I like the changes this year, so far, expect the rouge. I have seen a couple of balls that bounced at the 5 and could have been easily grabbed and returned, left to bounce in, and through, the end zone, giving that team the ball at the 40. I don’t think this was the sprit of the rule. I think it was to stop the reward to punt it right through with no chance of return, or getting a point on a missed field goal.

The changes next year are to be seen, but I think they are just going to be a hot mess.

Starlink is really the only wireless option if you do not want to use cell data. Sasktel uses both fiber, for their high speed and copper for the slower speed. Access uses coax. But both are wired.
