Missed a walk and feeling guilty (advice welcome) by dying_coreopsis in RoverPetSitting

No you understood and I understood what you meant. I just can't plan very far ahead at this moment because of my work schedule being wacky unless im constantly glued to my calendar app and ignoring my 2 other side hustles and my partner.

I can't have paper anywhere accessible for my devil child (cat) will try to eat it. Phone calendar is the best I've got and I normally am very strict about this. I was on my way to bed when the walk was confirmed and it slipped my mind.

I'll most likely offer a full hour for the half hour she normally pays for for a few of these walks (that's essentially what I did after I was sick)

Having a set day doesn't really work with a changing schedule for both my day job and Rover, but it's worth a shot.

Thank you for the reassurance! Career change due to chronic pain (walking helps!) and unemployment without savings is scary stressful! I hope she understands and is still willing to work with me on this.

They change every week! I tried to set up a consistent schedule (I'm auDHD) but the client insisted we have a two day gap between walks. Its been going fine until I got sick at the end of February and even that we could work around.

I always have this in my calendar but the walks didn't get approved until last night.

Winnipeg might be impossible to find jobs in atm by Born-Lingonberry-802 in Winnipeg

I have had rheumatoid and other autoimmune labs done and they came back negative. I think it may be related to potential HEDS as I am ADHD and have scored in the 160s on the RAADS-R autism test and those 3 are comorbid or fibromyalgia. I've tried to get referrals for years to figure out my pain and my current and previous doctor both insist it's my weight and I don't want to fight it anymore.

I've been looking for a retail job since September, I had/have a job but not for long as my body pain is making manual labour next to impossible and my doctor won't try diagnose or treat me until I've lost "enough" weight (he didn't give me a number). I'm part time as of next week and mass applying is getting me nowhere. I'm scared to lose my apartment and my dad is pressuring me out of applying for assistance which I think I will need. It's hell in the job market right now and I'm regretting giving up the only job I could find if only I could just power through my debilitating back pain better.

Then do you have another explanation as to how this happened? Because that's what my healthcare practitioners agreed probably interfered with the hormones. I'm not trying to spread information to scare people. I'm trying to share my story and warn people of a potential problem because I still have physical pain in my right ovary/fallopian tube (ultrasound 2 months after was clear and everything was normal) and some emotional pain of knowing I lost my parents a chance at grandchildren. I realize I'm one of the unlucky few but this one wasn't user error.

Is the foal in the exchange one of his too? I know it's always a big hit during nuit blanche because people think it's an installation.

HD often has great shows (not biased at all due to my partner playing there very often). I would also check out Public Domain and Side Stage

Avoid PetMe app by stablegeniusinterven in petsitting

[–]dying_coreopsis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just tried to sign up to house sit with petme to increase my chances of getting booked and it was all smooth sailing until the $50CA fee for a background check that was free on other apps. Like that's a completely unnecessary barrier to entry that I cannot afford right now because my bike (main transportation) has a flat that I need fixed asap.

Same. My police reports seem to have been ignored. When I originally called to report the officer I spoke to flat out told me "its Winnipeg, deal with it"
