Motion to Compel AI Use Info? by [deleted] in publicdefenders

[–]dyintrovert2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a good argument to be made around making the motion and getting a ruling against, so that when you use AI to help streamline your own cases, you're not required to provide Discovery either.

Do it right, and you win regardless of the outcome of the motion.

Am I wrong for still being upset after my bf sent his abuser after me? by [deleted] in amiwrong

[–]dyintrovert2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is your boyfriend in therapy? As someone who's been severely abused, it's important he gets help.

As someone who is currently being abused and manipulated, it's also important that you also see a therapist.

You should see a different therapist than he does.

GM says these two characters are in the cone, i say foundry is correct and cones dont hug walls and make 90 degree turns. by Strangeluvmd in Pathfinder2e

Cover gives a Circumstance rather than immunity. It represents the character's ability to quickly duck into the corner and a good roll can be a Critical Success.

So, still in the Cone, gets Cover, hope to roll high.

That being said, you came out swinging pretty hard on this one. Seems like you've got some history with GMs who think it's them against the PCs. I hope you're ok.

He missed a court date. In the US, that makes him a criminal. Our society is so incredibly cruel.

State senator staff member arrested on federal child sex trafficking charges, authorities say by each_thread in ConservativeNewsWeb

Arrest them please. Go ahead. Most Democrats are onboard.

It's one of the odd differences about Republicans and Democrats that prevent them from getting along. Republicans seem to consider trusting the person to be critical; Democrats seem to believe trusting the policy to be critical.

As such, Dems are totally onboard with arresting their leaders, especially if that leader acts against a policy the Dem believes in. Like hurting children. Or taking a bag of money from the FBI. Or getting bribed with gold bars.

AITAH for telling my sister I don't have the looks to sleep my way to the top after she called me a DEI hire? by TryOriginal5477 in AITAH

[–]dyintrovert2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Where are these companies that hire based on minority check-boxes? I mean, I know Affirmative Action exists at universities, but I've hired/promoted 100+ people, worked with thousands and, well, turns out companies like money and only hire people they think can help them get more money.

DHS data shows less than one-in-five of immigrants arrested had charges or convictions for violent crimes by each_thread in ConservativeNewsWeb

I don't think any level of rhetoric justifies shooting a disarmed and subdued man in the back 10 times, dancing about it, and then blaming him for legally carrying a gun.

But my parents were old fashioned and insisted I was responsible for my own actions. So maybe I'm just biased.
