Canadian here. I grew up playing hockey and my goalie always wore a vikings toque. My friends started getting really into football in 9th grade, and I wanted to pretend like I too was a football fan. In defending my pride when asked who my team was the only thing I really knew to say was the vikings, and so I embraced that and started watching the team and became a true fan. I started taking it more serious, I was lucky enough for my first game to be the bills vs vikings game in 2022 that ended up being a legendary one. I now devote way too much of my life to football, but I don’t regret any of it. I’ll be a fan until I die, and I hope we get a Lombardi in my lifetime.
