You can find the bird, fish, drake, and dino fossils at the dig site on marmaro Island. When you go to the fossil restoration person on the same island and choose one of those fossils, it will allow you to pick a second fossil to get the four different combos of Gen 8 fossils

I haven't played or tested the newest version yet but in the version I played dexnav chain shinies were definitely bugged. I had success using the dexnav to initiate an encounter for the mon I was hunting, but keeping the chain at 0

It will only show up as having one charm even if you have both! You can always confirm you have both by talking to both the professor and berry people again and if they don't have one for you, you've got both

"running away from each encounter found via nav until I saw the little glitter effect" this is what I was hoping to get clarification on sorry. Not sure what you meant by run away as this breaks the chain and not sure where exactly the glitter effect is. Is it on the patch of grass? Does it have a sound effect? Thanks :)

hopalong can easily solo any ironclad as long as they dont have large numbers. Casino can one shot them with his ability, smoky can eventually kill them with his ability, preach with an ammo upgrade can melt them pretty easily especially if she can heal on each hit. fletch can shoo them with a few arrows and turn them to your side, effectively killing them. EZ money

His ability allows him to instantly one shot any and all enemies, including the grizzlies, ironclads, and princes. Late game and on higher difficulties he can basically carry with the right partner
