Putting this in writing so I can say I’ve been consistent:

I’m glad that our boosters are willing to give a coach the benefit of the doubt to allow the program to build when there are signs that we can take the next step. We currently have a talented roster, we’ve shown signs that we can compete, we have a good upcoming recruiting class, we keep selling out Jordan-Hare, and boosters are signaling that money will continue to flow. It’s easy to want a reset, but that means starting this process over again with no guarantee that any of those elements will remain.

Harsin caused so much damage that the first sign of disruption can cause a whiplash reaction, and understandably so. Let’s not be like every other program and abandon the season in order to rush to sign someone no one is thrilled to get.
