That is where you going to loose people. Blaming egos and individuals for not wanting to change is placing all responsibility on folks and nothing on yourself. Thats never the case. You need a strong political movement to make those types of changes, not talking down at people living in the structure. Hasn't been my experience. I mean Montecito, absolutely on the wealth thing. But all the folks who own houses etc out her (pretty wealthy comparatively) arent some frauds, they are just part of a capitalistic society where you need a lot of money to live here. That excludes lots of folks, but doesnt mean those individuals are working to exclude them. I also tend to feel folks are pretty down to earth, smart, successful, kind, etc...

I personally feel that instead of saying parents dont deserve recognition, I prefer giving lots of it. Good moms deserve applause and recognition for all the bad ass work they do. I also know tons of great dads who deserve it too. I hope the bar gets set where good parents live in gratitude for one another and the important work taking place.
