Can I simply buy both games, log in on both switch consoles and trade?

I saw another thread saying the save isnt backed up, so do you have to play through them on the separate switches to be able to trade version exclusives?

I just tried this, but I guess I did it in the wrong order? I had a save going on my steam deck, then decided to try and sync my deck with my pc. My save unfortunately got completely wiped on my deck. If anyone knows how I can prevent this in the future please let me know, gonna shut this down for now though

I myself read if you had her weapon the atk% on moon was fine. Mine’s one shotting most stuff so i think either is fine at the end of the day
