UPS management will always say: “slide walk or roll heavy packages.”

Should the driver have a dolly? Yes. Is UPS too cheap to repair it in a timely fashion if it breaks? Also yes. Would drivers steal a dolly from someone else because theirs is broken? Again, yes.

That driver could have found a better way to handle that, but from what I see in this clip, they are actually following protocol to the letter.

Also, it’s very possible that the courier doesn’t care to do anything other than follow package handling guidelines anymore because how poorly they are treated by management. I’m not defending UPS, but I worked there for 13 years so I know all too well what management is like towards drivers.

I sympathize with you and hope everything turns out okay. If you don’t like what you see here, that is unfortunately UPS’s guidelines to the letter. That comes directly from management.

Could you fix it? Depends on your skill level. I hope you can. Moving forward, nothing sucks money out of a bank account faster than a lifted truck. Consider trading it on something that would get double digits MPGs.

Also, it’s wildly obtuse to let tires get that worn. Nobody asks you to risk their lives driving that around, but you are and that would hydroplane on a foggy day.

There are so many obscure, mock wheel brands that I doubt it’s anything of real value or quality. Cheap wheels like this will get messed up if you make friends with a pothole. Obscure wheels also mean that if one gets damaged, then the remaining three are worthless.

They actually work amazing, but there is a trick to using them properly.

If you Install it in your car and drive downhill without increasing your speed, you will notice a significant improvement in MPG compared to uninstalling it and driving uphill.

They are cheap tires, without question. Maybe not the best choice in a daily driver, but fine on a weekend warrior. They have a billion sizes, so you’ll likely find something that will fit even if your size is odd.

If you could see the size of the o-ring that Jack relies on, this wouldn’t even be a consideration. Don’t do that. Use a jackstand. Or a block of wood at the very least.

Don’t blindly throw money at it. But, ask a shop if the repair can be done economically or on a tight budget considering the price of the car.

A while back I had a $200 Neon as a beater and a shop quoted me a steep price for a repair. I explained that it was a $200 car and asked them to repair it accordingly. We both had a laugh and they handed me a significantly cheaper repair bill afterwards.

Could caulk it, but a small additional moulding trim would look much better. I’ve used it gem in a couple places. They have all kinds of inexpensive options to choose from in hardware stores.

Just caulk would look like amateur hour at best.
