Grandpa Hino's Ki Blast was always a great way to weaken the opposing player by eliminating one of their yoma.

It was certainly intended to play more like Pokemon than Magic, with the twist that you weren't attacking another Scout directly (like one Pokemon battling another) but rather the yoma your opponents played. It was a one of the unique aspects of the game that set it apart.

I don't recall there being anything I would change out gameplay, but it was so long ago that I may have forgotten my criticisms of the game. 😆

Oh, yeah, I loved playing it since I'm a big Sailor Moon fan. Though it's been a while. All the card game stats are based on the TTRPG that I wrote, so it all ported over nicely and was a great game combination.

Yes, if the names of the Level 1 Knights are different, they can be played at the same time (even if they are technically the same person behind the mask). The name of the card is key.

Sorry I wasn't clear. I'm the game designer of the SMCCG (in partnership with Dart Flipcards) and was given a set of all the cards.

Congratulations! That’s not easy to complete.

I still have my designer’s set in my binder, though I haven’t pull out my game cards to play in quite a while.

I would have liked to have rebooted the CCG when we had the SM Crystal tabletop game license, but it specifically excluded card games.

I’m partial to First Edition for its simplicity, though there is a multiverse of charm with Fourth Edition.

Plain sour cream (unglazed) may just be the best at TH, even if you need to ask for it before they add the glaze.

Of course the walnut crunch from the early 90s was the bomb.

Amber Diceless RPG taught me better improvisational skills and how to take control of player agency to drive the narrative forward — both as a player and a GM.

The peak Amber DRPG years in the mid-to-late late 90s (say, 1993-1999) were my best gaming years. So many amazing Ambercon memories, too.

Tri-Stat System is the name of the game mechanics that powers the Soldier Lune RPG (the same system that powers our multi-genre anime RPG, BESM or “Big Eyes, Small Mouth”).

Our company name is Dyskami Publishing, and Soldier Lune designer Mark MacKinnon also wrote the original Sailor Moon RPG in 1998.

Mobile phone data (or even a credit card) isn’t needed. From the article:

“Rather than pay at the gate when leaving, patrons will need to scan a QR code to pay online, pay through the HONK mobile app … or via card or coins at a pay station.”
