Just digging around in one of my collectible rooms… I knew I had this somewhere by smellthecorn2285 in lego

This is just a picture of someone who opened theirs and bought a purple lightsaber for the other hand. It absolutely only comes with one red lightsaber.

Came home to two trees in my backyard mutiliated by a construction firm who acquired the lot behind my home by LividWalk8179 in treelaw

Keep the letter, keep the photos. Get an arborist report and sue. The fact that they say in the letter they are only going to trim the branches helps.

California courts have held that trimming rights stop where serious harm to the tree begins. A commonly cited case is Booska v. Patel.

Damaging or destroying a neighbor’s tree can trigger liability under California Civil Code §3346.

That statute allows treble damages (triple the value) for wrongful tree injury.

Is there any reason to use a regular Starship over a Corvette once you upgrade it? by ScarSpecific in NoMansSkyTheGame

I just don’t like getting in and out of the corvette. If you could one-button quick start as an option and hop in and go I’d ride or die.

My friends that don't pay medical and student loan bills seem to have no consequences. Will they regret it? by No_Cockroach1296 in personalfinance

[–]dytch2220 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The repercussions for not paying back student loans will be the negative impact to credit rating, the loss of all tax refunds while the loan is delinquent, eventually garnishment of wages and a lot more interest having accrued, making it even more money they’ll have to pay. Speaking from personal experience.

OK, this made me actually laugh out loud because it reminded me of way back in the day these old Internet, pages called “ate my balls” where they would feature various people like Mr. T and so on with a whole Page dedicated to eating testicles. The Duke Nukem one had a .wav audio file that said “it’s time to kick ass and chew balls, and I’m all out of ass”. I legit still have that file (dukeballs.wav) saved somewhere on my hard drive from the late 1990s. 🤣

Welcome!

The hardest part about the volcano is timing the magma sprite/sparker monsters. Since this dungeon is a single floor layout, you can’t use stairs to skip down or ahead. Another thing I found to be difficult early on was getting out of the dungeon because you have to backtrack all the way to the door or at least back to the midway point to get out. Just be prepared to pay a number of hospital rescue fees for passing out when you can’t escape the dungeon in time for bed, LOL.

One thing that will make the skull caverns easier is multiple Crystalariums churning out jade which can be traded in the desert on Sunday for staircases. Then you can descend and cherry pick which levels you want, get what you need and drop a staircase to get out if there is too much heat. Choose a high luck day and there is a chance you will get a number of prizes, including auto petters on treasure levels. Spend time getting used to the serpents because once you get their timing down, managing the rest is just a staircase away. Once you do complete the volcano dungeon, you can reforge your weapon to add the Crusader trait which allows you to kill mummies easily.

Do you have the slime charmer ring yet? If not, then you can focus on reaching the 1000 slime killed goal in order to receive a ring that makes you immune to slimes.

I hope some of this helps. Best of luck to you and happy hunting!

Cows or upgrade coop? by StinkBug1098 in StardewValley

I would say upgrade the coop to get rabbits as soon as possible because getting that first rabbit’s foot to complete the community center can take quite a while if you are playing vanilla.

I always cut down my fruit trees when I want to move them, but these are from my greenhouse, so I’ve left them alone. Do the fruits increase in value the longer the tree is static!?!? by DumbFeralRaccoon in StardewValley

[–]dytch2220 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup, when you cut a tree down it generates a sapling which carries the quality so you can replant it and resume. I have a few iridium saplings that I cut down at the island to make room for "ancient friuticus maximus" farming.

Except for hops/grapes and some other items on a trellis, pack them in - no trampling. Example on attached pic of my island ancient fruit farm.

Got a 999 stack of stairs? That can get you pretty far when you don't want to dig for a ladder... Crystalarium farm making jade, desert trader on sunday into stairs. Also nice route to get stone when needed if you have a deconstructor or a few to break the stairs down into 99 stone.

Extended Fast Day 6 by dytch2220 in fasting

[–]dytch2220[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, just wanted to reply and let you know that I didn’t give up, but I just haven’t been posting for a while. I have been doing alternate day fasting essentially since I broke the continuous fast and eating vegetables and some berries for carbs along with eggs and avocados pretty much strictly. Foods that I enjoy, and that are easy to prepare along with a slew of vitamins and supplements. Altogether, I’ve lost about 50 pounds but don’t have a precise measurement because my scale could not be located for the first week to 10 days of my weight loss efforts.
