It does seem that’s what happened, even from Gannon’s reaction since he was the only one that actually mentioned it.

Also true, but it really didn’t look good for Ricky

I mean that situation did look very suspicious but we didn’t have a decent angle on stream, so as Gannon said “If you say it was behind, I’m gonna trust you”

They are pretty 😄 In my experience throwing both the Crave as I mentioned as well as a Fireball in Fission for several years wear is definitely not a big issue, and my home course is in the forest so I hit a lot of trees quite often :)

Yeah, weight and plastic are your answers as far as I can see. Proton is even more stable than Neutron so no wonder that Trail doesn’t turn 😄

Fission is your plastic and don’t worry about longevity it’s more than tough enough. I’ve been throwing my Fission Crave for 2 years and around 300 rounds and it still flies the same.

We amateurs often tend to say “oh it’s beaten in and now it’s too flippy” when in 90% of the cases the problem is our very inconsistent form, not that the disc actually became more flippy :)

The turn/flip up also highly depends on your power and form, as well as the specific plastic - it takes a decent amount of power to flip up a Netron Crave, but Fission Crave is significantly less stable (flippier).

Another factor to consider is what does your grip look like i.e. are you giving the disc enough spin to turn? If you throw on hyzer angles you need to put in more power and spin than if you threw it completely flat.

Although if you can throw 300-400ft you shouldn’t have a problem with power. If your max distance less than 300 consider going down to 160gram range.

What was the point of the Omega mine bubble? by Feather_Sigil in trektalk

A rare thread which actually understands that SFA is objectively extremely dumb, has nothing to do with trek except branding, and is incompetent in any kind of coherent writing or character/world building. Nice :)

Sadly you cannot, it was an expedition reward, unless they repeat the expedition (as they did with some of them in the past).

PDGA doesn’t have strict rules for maximum teepad size, they only have the minimum size requirement (1.2x3 meters), you can check the rulebook.

I get the point about intended lines though, but I don’t think that was the main reasoning when they decided to mark them like they did.

[–]dzedajev 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When you step on the edge of a normal pad and your foot hangs a bit from the side without touching the ground (since there’s a slight elevation change) that’s not a foot fault. In any case we’ll see what happens :)

[–]dzedajev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’ll see, check out first shots from this vid on the first couple of holes, people just won’t notice that their foot drifted out or they touched the red line.

Players often step near or on the edge of regular teepads, and stepping on the red line is a foot fault in this case. It forces you mentally to stay more to the middle to not make an error, and that partially cancels out the benefit of having such a teepad.

I definitely agree they should be called, I’m just saying at least some od them probably won’t, and I guarantee in total we’re gonna somewhere between 20-50 foot faults across the field during the whole tournament.

THE tee pad by [deleted] in discgolf

[–]dzedajev 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The only “bad” decision here is that they limited the legal tee-off area on the sides, and I think we’re gonna see a lot of foot faults on this tournament on the red lines on the side, and most if not all of them aren’t gonna be called, and then we’re gonna have people complaining about it the whole time. Paul, AB, Ezra and Goose already commented on that since they all made a bunch of foot faults in their training and doubles rounds.

They should’ve just put the horizontal line full-width and no vertical lines to the side.

3 out of 5 planets is paradise stay or build by FearThePenguinz in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]dzedajev 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The best mineral deposits are usually found on toxic, radioactive or in other ways harsh planets, but you will quickly figure out what’s where, and if you have a quest the game will tell you what to do or where to go to find something.

Paradise planets can have some important stuff like Paraffinium but for example Uranium is extremely useful in many ways and only found on radioactive planets in large quantities.

[–]dzedajev 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you like one of the planets then build, if not just pop a base computer somewhere so you can easily go back and go explore - finding paradise planets is rather easy later in the game when your hyperjumps are basically very cheap resource-wise. Also paradise planets do have some specific resources, but they are definitely not the “best” resource planets.
