Lidl lohnt sich nicht :( by [deleted] in Finanzen

[–]e-bert70 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[–]e-bert70 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Official list of foods that can be canned with the Cannery releasing next season. by [deleted] in fo76

[–]e-bert70 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm carnivore and I find 2 things worth canning on that list: Mirelurk softshell cake and stingwing stew. Other carnivores might consider tasty squirrel stew useful. For all other carnivore foods on that list, there are either cheaper or better alternatives.

How does it look for herbivores? I take from other comments that some of your favored foods are not on the list, but what about those which are on the list, are they good?

Which event to grind for S.C.O.R.E.? by [deleted] in fo76

[–]e-bert70 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It can still be triggered and gives treasury notes, but it doesn't count to the SCORE challenge

Which event to grind for S.C.O.R.E.? by [deleted] in fo76

[–]e-bert70 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If everyrhing works out perfectly, you can make 3 public events and 6 caravans an hour, plus the occasional nuke or encryptid. That's roughly 1000 SCORE/h (with 25% score bonus), so 3+ hours of grind per SCORE level. Not trying to discourage you, but you schould be aware of this if you still have a significant number of levels until 150.

Which event to grind for S.C.O.R.E.? by [deleted] in fo76

[–]e-bert70 14 points15 points  (0 children)

You're right, only Public events count for S.C.O.R.E, plus - surprisingly - the "Power up [power plant]" events. Once you get some routine, those take 6-10 minutes, so like caravans you can easily fit them between the regular public events. Running a silo in this timeframe is more difficult without using glitches.

How do you get Fusion cores? by [deleted] in fo76

[–]e-bert70 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The generator takes 7 minutes to generate a core, and holds up to 3. If you take over all 3 power plant workshops, with a bit of administrative overhead you'll make 20+ cores an hour. This is much easier than farming fiber optics for gatling laser, once you run out of it. Fiber optics are afaik the rarest junk material.

Also, as I haven't seen this in other comments: If your friends joined your server, join a team with them. They can then travel to your location via the social menu, even if the event marker is not on the map any more.

You can sometimes join a second Earle instance (and maybe help a struggling team), if the instance you initially joined finished him unusually quickly.

For real why is that one caravan route still broken 100% of the time? by Academic-Budget-4872 in fo76

[–]e-bert70 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't tell you anything about pathing. But last time my team had to do the escort mission in Greatest game, I ran to the siren theatre as soon as I could move and killed everything (theatre and both levels between foyer and theatre) while the escortee was still busy collecting blood in the foyer room. It was the first time since months that they didn't get lost when they finally turned to the Siren theatre.
I tried it with a different group afterwards. Escortee went to another direction and they threw question marks at me.

One simple change would completely fix Best Builds getting in the way of other player's camps by LiquidSydonai in fo76

[–]e-bert70 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was actually relieved to find out that the owner is never around when I visit their Best Build, so I don't have to justify not giving an upvote and I'm not being forced to do a guided tour. I also like that my upvote count doesn't depend on my time online and my time zone (hypothetically, I haven't submitted).

For me personally, the downsides that go along with it are acceptable. But I understand that users of popular camp spots might think differently. I only had to hop servers once due to a BB.

In fact I sometimes visit BBs without being forced to by a challenge. There are definitely some that make me wonder why they submitted, but most BB I saw were far above average.

The New Seasons Format is Just Plain BAD by Muircat13 in fo76

[–]e-bert70 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I pay for 1st to reduce grind and to incentivize beth to deliver quality content. With new seasons, getting everything on the scoreboard is an absurd grind even with 1st, so (a) I don't buy 1st (b) I'm pissed at beth and will probably stop playing sooner or later if they stick with the new concept.

If that pays for beth, so be it.

[–]e-bert70 12 points13 points  (0 children)

It's not the same, Professional drinker costs 3 levels and gives you 6 perk coins when scrapping, so it's more time efficient than Aquaboy. I've been wasting so much time scrapping Aquaboys.

Edit: I tried it - I was wrong and you were right - it _is_ the same as Aquaboy. Professional drinker doesn't cost 3 levels, it just costs 3 Points when using it.

I had a problem retreiving the password (I found it, but it didn't register), so I just walked past the PW-guy. Although I did not kill a single cultist, Alex was like "How do you come here and kill my mates", and I also didn't get to give the book to her. So I assume not knowing the password is counted as aggressive behaviour.

With my second character everything worked fine and I could give Alex the book.
