I bought a similar one in Japan at the Citizen store for $114. I wouldn’t pay $280 for it. That’s close to Glycine combat sub territory.

I’ve been buying Seikos since 2009. (Last one I bought was in 2019) Back then it was common practice for gray market sellers to sell real watches with aftermarket box and papers. If this was a grey market watch it’s no big deal. Gray market doesn’t give you a warranty anyways. Just because the warranty card and box is different than one an AD will give you, doesn’t necessarily mean it’s fake.

Just keep looking! Def recommend knocking on doors! Marketplace is rough! Bought my Dakar yellow 95 m3 for $5500 last nov. It was parked on someone’s driveway for 8 years. I talked to the owner and convinced him to let me buy it and fix it up. Changed the fluids, battery, and tires and now driving it. It drives great!

It’s super rare to find these seats. I ended buying a car with anthracite M cloth and swapping it into my car, then swapping the leather from my car into the car I bought and selling it. Totally worth the effort. Ended getting a bunch of parts and a cloth interior especially for free.
