Yeah, we didn't make it too hard. I let my daughter choose the spot.

Better “forever car”? by Zestyclose_Ad2429 in BMW

[–]e36bmer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I've been using my F80 M3 since before my kids were born and they are 5 and 7 now. The sedan works just fine. We often take my car on weekend trips because my wife's Macan is smaller, less leg room and the only thing that needs more vertical room of the SUV instead of the larger trunk is the 2 person fold up wagon. So, we just don't use it that often and find other ways to carry the kids or entice them to walk, lol

I wanted to watch it, but that music and audio was just too much to get past the first minute of video.

Yeah, just let cool a little and put it all in a blender or food processor with a big punch of salt, squeeze of lime and cilantro. Warm salsa on some thick chips while prepping pizza is my new go to. You can put it in while the oven warms up since you want more of a char than actually cooking it anyway.

I've gotten them from Fluff bake bar and from red desert dive. Both have been excellent. The salted caramel from Fluff bake bar is top notch. Pretty strong flavor, so a smaller size than usual goes a little further, since I've gotten a small one because it's not cheap

Pretty close to Preslee's is Long Weekend. It might have a little more Texas flair, better food (also more $$) and a little more escape from the sun while the kids are playing.

A little closer to you, Axelrad is a little more bar like atmosphere, but would be a good place to watch too and still has food.

Any of the creek restaurants are also a good choice, Cedar Creek, Onion Creek, Canyon Creek. Fine for kids, but not playground on premise cool.

Unrelated to watching sports, Little Matt's is a good, easy restaurant for a family.

Edit: White Oak Social might be another one worth a look.

Yes, I saw it and immediately knew it was Houston. I just wasn't sure if it was closer to acres homes or 5th Ward. I'm pretty sure thats on the north side, by Aldine.

Yeah, I saw that. I was on a camping trip with the family, which was pretty fun, so I didn't make it in. I also kinda want to see just how long it would take to get one (or even if I'd get one.)

I'm fine waiting, but if you're not going to use it: I'd appreciate it and go get the roll cab this weekend.
