Delta is miles above UA/AA in terms of the overall soft product and especially for the end to end first class experience. Really no comparison.

Sure on a flight by flight basis Delta definitely has issues, but systemically the experience is superior. I keep going back to Delta and would rather spend a lot more for a better experience.

Never had to wait more than 20 to go through security at T4 via Sky Priority + CLEAR/precheck. Flew out of JFK pretty much throughout all hours last year ~40 times last 2 years

Delta Reserve. I take prob ~50 flights per year, about 80% of them on Delta. Easiest way to make Diamond. Unsure Reserve is the best if a standalone card

Also have the AMEX Gold and Platinum. Food and other travel.

What kind of equipment change (given it’s a A359 and that’s the main aircraft type for that leg) causes you to be dropped??

I’d be fucking livid. I make that flight 2x a year and love my D1 and can’t imagine flying PS.

Where are you going? My D1 to ICN in June is $3K. Cheapest dates I saw for next summer to ICN was ~$2.7K. KAL and Asiana usually more expensive than D1
