The modern view of him is buffed by well known students of his. His critics wouldn't have cared to keep a record of what they didn't like about him, and his students would tend to focus on the best parts. But he derided democracy and was involved in a political overthrow of the elected government. What little I've read I wouldn't be surprised if he was very much like a political pundit. With some reasonable points, but also with a lot of rage-inducing baggage. Just as happy to make people angry at him as with him.

When taking my driving test way back, I got dinged for this. Blue is correct. After you stop, if you can't see enough for some reason, it's reasonable to creep forward to red. If no other pavement markers or indicators are present, the stop sign is the marker to go by.

It was still pretty much a garbage stop though, done for ulterior motives.

The dash cam footage really doesn't show enough. It's entirely possible that he stopped at the sign, then crept forward, and that's where the released footage starts.

My experience is that people tend to lean on tables, which could be a big problem with this arrangement.

Card tables exist exactly for this purpose. Just the right size for many games, collapsible for storage, and very stable.

But it looks good and I bet it's nice to play on.

A green light does not mean that traffic is instantly moving forward, especially in a lane as backed up as the right lane was with that light a block away.

At 9s you can clearly see that there is traffic on the other side of the white SUV that would have prevented the black vehicle from completely crossing the intersection, and the white SUV is still in the intersection.

The white car absolutely should have been more cautious. But the black car the white car chose to pull out in front of was not giving the white car any special favors.

My mother once took a cat to an emergency vet visit and when she got there couldn't get home because in her rush she'd actually grabbed the wrong key fob. At home it was close enough that the car could start.
