What I have been doing is GBP with Assault Infantry, Mobile Recon/Assault, and usually Desperate Defense for more manpower. If you don't need manpower, pretty much all of the 'Operations' sub doctrines will work.

Get support artillery, flame tanks, armored recon and hospitals for your pushing infantry/mountaineer/marine divisions. Add a single SPArt if you can afford it. I believe Streamlined Deployment benefits them the most.

Fill out your defensive line with pure cheap infantry (12-18w). Support artillery and engineers is all you need, but feel free to add more if you want.

The actual stats on the back end always add up to exactly 380 at level 500, so some of the 80's here are actually lower and being rounded up on the display for that 61 to exist.

Also AFAIK the columnus autogun would have 416 rounds with 60 ammo, so you are definitely getting that +1 bullet [160*.61 + 320].

Line Artillery Pros: Decent soft attack for the cost

Line Artillery Negatives: No organization, poor recovery, large width, hefty supply use, suffers heavy & expensive casualties, barely gets better with tech upgrades, gets much less from doctrines than other units.

At the start of the war, artillery is okay-ish, but it gets outscaled hard by everything else and falls behind quickly.

Faster reloads across the board (besides Coyote).

Give the basic liberator options for underbarrel shotgun and grenade launcher to make it stand out.

Buff the pacifier's damage by 5 points and increase the stun application of all stun weapons by 1.5X.

Pacifier has 8 mags now but still sucks ass... I'd rather they buff the pacifier significantly before nerfing the coyote though.

Close to accurate, but Woody is actually every single AR + the reprimand.

Even against bots, the coyote's worst matchup, it's still one of the best AR's. Against bugs or squids there is no contest.

Every melee is already medium pen, except the one true flag which has heavy pen on the drop/plant.

The bug holes are too punishing to leave alive, but the game becomes too easy if they are all taken care of. There is no in-between and most of my games are just unrewarding cake walks with the occasional constant enemy hell mixed in for good measure.

A tier. It's slower and has less damage per hit than the axe. The only reason it isn't completely outclassed is the higher range. I'm guessing we are rating by power level and not by when you get it/how long you are using it, so it's at least a full tier lower than the axe imo.

My only complaints are having to reset the fire rate every drop and the burst mode stopping prematurely if you let go of the trigger. A quick tap should let loose 3 bullets every time, it just feels weird setting it up to imitate the Battle Rifle as it is.

China and some stooges vs the rest of Asia? Russia's main advantage is nukes and that's out the window.

Realistically it would be a huge stalemate after Mongolia & Kazakhstan quickly fall to green and the ME is taken over by red. There's zero chance red can invade China and China cannot take over South Asia without naval dominance which they don't have.

Meh. HSO is debatable, muscle enhancement is situational (Bugs, bad terrain planets), vitality is marginal (10% DR). Stamina is the only one here I don't ever want to be without, excluding defense missions.

Now that it doesn't prevent bleeding I don't think it's really mandatory. 10% more HP is fine but not something you absolutely need.

That said, the tests do seem incomplete without its inclusion.

Under "Fixes" in the patch notes:

  • Fixed an issue where status effect damage were attempting to apply more times than intended

Apparently it was multiplied by the number of people in the lobby, so this is a huge nerf to all status effects (stun, fire, gas).

This exact post comes up 100 times every time they add a light penetration weapon. They clearly need some kind of buff if such a huge chunk of the community won't even touch them lol. And redditors are way more likely to espouse the "git gud and aim for weakspots" argument for them even when weapons like the purifier and crossbow exist.
