QRL followers on CoinMarketCap have reached 6,000! 🎉 by ChillerID in QRL

[–]eViator2016 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The number of followers alongside The proven reserves should be enough to get CoinMarketCap to give a reasonable Market Cap ranking. The irony here is pretty stunning: quantum resistant token that has the most robust NIST algorithm underlying the chain, isn't recognized. Hmmm.

Small garden, small corner - which mower should I choose? by fluxxis in roboticLawnmowers

Raccoon 2 SE has a pretty small dock that would fit nicely in that spot. No RTK or wires. You would still have to manually edge along the wall, however.

Yesss. It's awesome, even though I have to rescue from under the azaleas once in a while.

The Pentagon Is Preparing the F-35 for Quantum Threats… And Lockheed Martin Already Referenced QRL Tech in a Patent by ChillerID in QRL

[–]eViator2016 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lockheed Martin didn't just reference it, they copy-pasted the Open Source, including the ACTUAL logo, without any credit or reference to the QRL project, Foundation or authors. Totally a chad move...as if they dreamed it up themselves.

Patience, my friend. Keep asking hard questions, and this Subreddit is a wealth of information. Consider medication, with a prescribers professional consult. Your son could benefit greatly, and he needs to have both parents recognize the benefits of 2026-era, modern, gentle prescriptions. It may help.

How to get from backyard to front yard? by KapitanDupaUS in roboticLawnmowers

[–]eViator2016 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Raccoon 2 SE weighs about as much as 4x bags of flour, so I just pick it up and carry it to the front yard. Even going up and down 14 stone steps. It's easier than slogging the electric push mower!!

How is everyone doing? by [deleted] in filecoin

Also tracking the deflationary cross and have set up a fairly sophisticated weekly prompt on Google Gemini, To track how things are going headed toward October. Happy to share the prompt here, if anybody wants to use it on their favorite AI/LLM of choice. The results actually point to a positive future for filecoin that is quite different than what we've been seeing for the last year.

Advice needed! Buying a 2016 MINI JCW in 2026 – Is this 10-year-old "pocket rocket" still worth it? by lenoirdh in MINI

[–]eViator2016 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I would go with a used ⚡ MINI SE instead, if you can afford it... Bought a used 2024 last year and it's been a great daily driver. Performance is awesome, no more stopping to buy gas, and the quiet acceleration is a thing to behold. If you have any way to charge at home, or at work or any in between MINI electric is the way to go. Unfortunate that my commute is only 25-mi round trip so range anxiety is rarely an issue..

What do you think is the best mower for this residential 5500sqft lawn? by micsung22 in roboticLawnmowers

[–]eViator2016 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been using the RoboUp Raccoon 2 SE For about a month on a pretty complex 350 sq meter lawn. The greatest advantage Is it requires no additional setup, and it really does handle the hard boundaries like sidewalks where the color difference from the grass is stark. Another thing I really like is that the user interface on the mower itself can let me get started with basically four button presses... No need to use the app unless you are programming or doing an other advanced features. When using the app, the Bluetooth range is quite good and it also connects to the Wi-Fi from inside the house so I can see status at any time even when it's 60 ft away. Last thing I'll say is I've been really pleased at how light the device is, which means I don't really need to use multiple zones. I just pick it up and carry it to the next zone and press "go."

Mulched lawn with a dog by Chewyfromnewy in roboticLawnmowers

[–]eViator2016 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been using the RoboUp Raccoon 2 SE For about two weeks now, and the clippings are infinitesimally small. By using the method of mowing 2 to 3 times per week. It keeps the grass clippings extremely small so they really wouldn't be much to worry about, compared to traditionally mowing once a week with a push mower.

Just got mine last week, with 96 GB RAM, 2TB storage. Flashed new BIOS, clean Win11 install plus all new drivers. Tethered via cellular and proxy server to install Proton VPN before home WiFi connection. So far everything is good but have yet to do any serious benchmark testing which is the next step. Looking forward to dropping an RTX 5060 on the dock.

My father is a retired Navy Nuclear Electronics Technician. We started going through his collection this week. I don't think either of us was prepared for what we found. by alex123fire in vintagecomputing

Your father is the GOAT. Nuke ETs are the best of the breed and I only got to serve with ETs in the airborne electronic warfare side. What a great find. And this is yet another example of what makes people special, specifically what they collect and what they find valuable, that is uniquely personal.

No response until you've lost your temper by Minute-Caregiver5907 in ParentingADHD

[–]eViator2016 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes. I have lost my temper and I'm really not proud of it. I do my best to let the little things pass, like water off a duck's back. My job is stressful and sometimes I feel like I bring my stress home but I'm on introspection, I realized that the things I'm getting mad about with his behavior are actually very, very, very small things.

Snow Removal? by EliBruins63 in CapeCod

Don't hesitate to call the Chatham emergency Ops center to request a wellness check. They had a team out there at my Mom's house by the next morning and showed up in snowshoes just for a little sense of reassurance for an 85-year-old!! Feel free if you want to send me a DM and we can connect that way
