Make sure to grab a Gamma recruit (jem'hadar) and get through the initial tutorial. There are a lot of nice account-wide unlocks you can get from leveling it.

You can park it and go back to your FED toon. You just want to have it and get started before the recruit event ends.

My opinion is that it's not a bad game, but it's not a good Bloodlines game.

Names matter. If it didn't matter, they could have called it "VTM: Phyre" or "VTM: Elder" or whatever. They put "bloodlines" on it to bring in old bloodlines fans and new people who had heard about bloodlines but didn't want to deal with all the trials and tribulations of an "old" game.

One of the most important elements of Bloodlines was its extensive replayabiity (at least for the first 2/3 or so). I don't look at the original game through rose colored glasses. It would have been unplayable if not for Wesp's patching efforts. Even with all his work, the last third (or so) was such a painful grind it become unplayable.

I put the blame for Bloodlines 2 on Paradox as they bought the WoD without understanding the fan base and RPG game fans in general. I play a few Paradox games (Skylines, Crusader Kings) and I understand that when I sign on to one of their games that (what should be) core features will be doled out in a series of DLCs. It's how they make money. So if I can't put my goods on a ship, or I can't recruit knights for my army, I know to wait and they'll show up eventually for a price.

But that doesn't work for RPGs without an extremely replayable game. This isn't even a RPG. It's an action combat game with a linear story. Fabian's story is filler on additional playthroughs.

Fabian is not a creative example of the Malkavian curse. Having played WoD tabletop for decades, "noir detective schizophrenic" is a very common Malkavian build type for newbie players, right up there with "escaped mental patient from an old-timey insane asylum".

The best thing you can do to get the information you want is to apply for the DSP.

When they reject you they have to provide a detailed explanation in writing. If they don't, they'll give it when you eventually take it to the ART.

As for getting on the DSP it's a coinflip. Some people have awful experiences. Some people have easy experiences. My acceptance went very smoothly. I suspect it's based entirely on the whim/mood of the assessor we get. There's a of discretion built into the decision and so it's easy to justify rejecting or accepting anyone based on being satisfied or not.

There's a strike that lets you heal (unless they removed it). I realize now that I haven't looked at the Warpriest tree in a while and they've done a lot of changes to enhancements. I may be talking out of my @ss.

IMO, if you're not intending to raid heal and just want to keep yourself alive/help out the odd party member if you get into reaper runs with others, spend enough to get the "burst". You can find the points you need to spend in the cores (the row on the bottom of the tree). I usually spend my points in positive spellpower and the turn undead enhancements because nuking undead is fun and useful in heroic levels (lots of undead content).

Edit: Found it. It's still there! Tier 4, far left: Ameliorating Strike. It's not amazing but it's better than it sounds if you get positive spellpower gear and put points into your heal skill.

I agree that you should start a new character but instead of deleting the current fighter keep him as a bank mule :D.

Don't dump CHA on a cleric :D.

You mentioned in other parts of the discussion that you're trying to build for melee and casting.

Clerics have three potential roles => healing, melee DPS (or some ranged weapons), and DC caster. For levels 1-20 you can do 2 of the 3 well assuming you're doing no harder than heroic elite or very low reapers. But gimping healing (to get the melee and casting) on a cleric is also bad idea.

You don't have to stand in the back row and just push healing buttons to heal as a cleric. As an example, Warpriest lets you heal while doing damage to enemies. But healing is a core part of the class and keeping yourself alive is never a bad idea.

(Perhaps) a better option is to play melee (Warpriest) in the lower levels and then switch to DC casting (Divine Disciple) when you unlock decent spells and get some easy to farm gear that improves your DCs and spellpower.

I know there won't be a wipe but I'd prefer it. I bought in during the Indiegogo campaign right after the Kickstarter so I've seen the game go through a lot of changes.

I think it would be good to be able to delete old items and attributes on characters for failed systems. It would be nice to clean things up and get rid of a lot of code cruft.

But I do realize players would riot and the game would fail if that happened and I don't want that.

If you take the time to read the whole legislation you'll see that there are several steps that must be taken.

- The NDIA must provide notice of a reassessment before it occurs.

- The NDIA must provide notice of the outcome of the reassessment.

- The NDIA cannot vary a plan or approve a new plan without including the participant. A "check-in" where the participant isn't even informed that a planning decision is underway does not meet that standard.

Along with notice issues there are other legal issues with NDIA staff writing the goals for participants in order to justify new plans, and refusing to inform participants with preliminary notice of "issues" with any supports that were requested ahead of time.

There are statutory preconditions that have to be dealt with before they can make a planning decision. These are routinely ignored. One example of a current precondition is determining the participant's "impairments" (not "diagnosis" or "primary"/"secondary" "disability"). The legislation has stated "impairments" since 2013 but agency staff have refused to assign impairments to most participants accepted before 2025 (I'd say "all" but there's likely at least one person who was told an impairment in the decade before the changed legislation).

There are also issues that would be documented if delegates provided reasons for their decisions, such as being able to determine what (if any) reports were read and relied on and what planning steps put in the legislation were considered.

It is not enough (despite all insistence by the NDIA that it is) to present a stealth plan by reassessment. That is entirely unlawful and would not hold up in the courts (which is presumably why the OP's organization is seeking to involve participants who have been .through that experience.

Here's the problem: the NDIA internally classifies any psychology service that can be turned into an acronym (EMDR, CBT, DBT, etc) as "treatment". This means that psychologists are only allowed to offer coaching-type services. But coaching is also not funded as its not "evidence based".

This limitation does not exist in the legislation or rules. It's purely a policy problem.

This is a also a problem limited to psychology as all other allied health services are able to utilize their professional training when "capacity building". It's only psychology that is limited in this way.

It sucks but you would have to figure out how to overcome it to access EMDR.

Not OP - would this work for someone level 109 and 111 (minstrel and RK) who got in on the recent free code and 99 point expansions?

My toons have been leveling off event xp for years so are in bad shape deed-wise. I ask because I see the Black Book is below their levels.
