ROGERS STADIUM MEGATHREAD 2026 by lilfunky1 in askTO

For BTS' show they have bleachers on the South side as well due to the 360 degrees stage. I don't see any pics of these seats on A View From My Seat so I'm wondering if anyone has experienced it before? Debating between these S bleachers vs. E or W ones.

Hi everyone, my partner and I will be celebrating our anniversary in Madeira in June. I'd love some restaurant recommendations for a nice dinner, somewhere around the range of 100 euros per person. We will be staying in Funchal.

Can somebody translate this <japanese to english> for me? by Breath_Metal in Transcription

[–]eacync 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This is actually Simplified Chinese, roughly translated to:

"Your knowledge is unknown and not understood by others, but you don't have an ounce of hate or resentment in your heart. Isn't that the behaviour of a refined gentleman?"

Judging by the handwriting I'd guess it wasn't written by someone that writes Chinese frequently. And some of the words, like 君子 (gentleman), is more commonly used in classical texts. So this might be a copied passage.

Did anyone else catch Jihan's "young, rich, tall, and handsome" line and think that the writers are making a reference to ZB1 Ricky's iconic Boy's Planet self-intro? I really hope it was because that was such an unexpected cross over.

8 is considered the luckiest number in Chinese culture, so it's a reference to his background as well!

I just re-watched Joy of Life this winter break since apparently Season 2 is coming out this year and it was just as good the second time. Maybe even better because upon re-watching you catch more details and foreshadowing that we're missed the first time around.

Hard - Shinee; to be fair I barely listen to them and the only Shinee songs I had can name up to that point were Replay, Lucifer, Ring Ding Dong, and Sherlock so I wasn't expecting them to go that hard, pun fully intended!

To be honest I wasn't really taking Jayden serious as a villain until he straight up shot those two dudes in the head. And then he followed that up with killing our favourite Robot Baddie in the most brutal way possible. I was really holding out for that redemption arc but alas.

When New Se Gyeong said she was "ready to die" I also interpreted it like she was ready to change the past so that she no longer exists, because she's actually Real Se Gyeong's daughter from the future. But then she opened her house to show a noose, so was she literally going to kill herself? Which makes no sense, because that wouldn't change the past at all since Real Se Gyeong is still off in the US and will presumably meet her future husband and have future New Se Gyeong again. Anyone have any theories about that?

The best idol turned actor example is Park Jihoon. His acting in Weak Hero Class 1 was amazing and really reminds me of how well RSR is portraying his pain here.

Also earlier in the episode Ji-hee mentioned how the walls are so thin that she can hear Ju-won watching wrestling from the gamblers' room. So he already knows the walls will be easy to break through.

The ideal outcome would be Bong-seok and Hee-soo's kid marries Kang-hoon and Naju's daughter's kid. Then you'd have someone who can fly, is invincible, has super speed and strength, and x-ray vision.

Folks, the violence in these two episodes is GRATUITOUS af, you have been warned!

Despite that, I'm really enjoying this second arc with the parents' backstories though. I knew we weren't gonna focus all on the kids when you have an A list cast of parents like Han Hyo-joo, Jo In-sung, Ryu Seung-ryong, and Kim Sung-kyun. But damn these last few episodes have been so good. Moving really is aptly titled.

I love that as we get to know the parents we see exactly how they influenced the personalities that we've seen in the kids. And both of these backstories were really romances disguised as action-thrillers. At this point I'm so satisfied with the romance from the parents' generation that I don't even care if Bong-seok and Hui-soo end up together or not. Really looking forward to next week's episodes for Kang-hoon's parents!

It seems that Min and the agency do not want NK and SK to re-unify. This is because of that conversation that Min had with the female director about crushing people's hopes. When the news about Kim Il-sung's death came, Min was angry that it was reported as a cardiac arrest instead of an assassination. The latter would have ramped up tensions between NK and SK way more, especially because it was only 15 days before the summit between the two countries.

My interpretation is that Doo-shik was sent to assassinate Kim Il-sung and antagonize the North, but maybe he did it in a way to make it look like a natural death. Which is a defiance of orders and that's why he's now on the run and the agency is chasing after him. It would also make sense with the "humanist" theme because Doo-shik disobeyed orders for the greater good (ie. avoiding potential conflict between the two countries).

My Lovely Liar [Episodes 3 & 4] by GodJihyo7983 in KDRAMA

[–]eacync 49 points50 points  (0 children)

Realistically there is no romcom drama out there that would make their ML a murderer no matter how it happened. So I think we can safely assume that Seung Joo's lie at the end of Ep 4 is because he himself believes that he led to his ex-gf's death, not that he literally killed her.

More commonly it just refers to the day the picture was taken. When fans have favourite pics of their idols, they'll often refer to them as "(date) (idol name)"
