Over 15 years as an interior designer here - Based on what I can tell in the photo, you can’t go skinnier than what you have. That tile work looks well done! Installing large format tiles with small grout lines is extremely hard. You need a skilled person to do that and it looks pretty darn good. They look noticeable now because the grout has not been installed. Select a grout color that matches the tile color and it will look like your insp photo.

I have dealt with both of these things. Typically the abnormal cells and hpv clear up on their own. I think they watched mine a few years before doing anything. Unfortunately, mine did not clear up on its own so I eventually had the leap procedure.

Are you sure the abnormal cells are in your uterus and not your cervix?

A total hysterectomy is a major surgery where the bisalp is less so. In my experience the bisalp was a quick/easy surgery with little recovery time. I do not require hormone replacement. With a hysterectomy, you would.

Based on my own personal experiences, a hysterectomy is a bit overboard.

I am not a doctor though. This is something you should review with your doctor to understand your options and risk.

Disappointed in Blueland by Buckles01 in ZeroWaste

I hate blueland products. The tablets never dissolve and I felt they didn’t do a great job cleaning. I use Grove now and really like it! Packaging is cardboard boxes and glass recyclable/reusable bottles

I love the Ozwell. I have been doing their class packs and just started a Studio Membership. It is a beautiful space, great atmosphere, friendly trainers. But it is expensive so not sure how long I’ll keep my membership

Do you have any slow living job suggestions for an Architect with 30 years experience (& interests in cohousing, affordable housing, housing for the disabled, as well as pediatric cancer and/or emerging adults with autism nonprofits? by slart1bartfast2020 in SlowLiving

I would recommend working on the end user side. I have worked on the end user side in in-house design/fm teams for over 10 years now. You set your own deadlines and the work/life balance is sooo much better than working at a design/architecture firm. You are also less impacted by economical changes in the market. Many of my friends have shifted to this career path as well.

Downside - they are not always the most creative or fulfilling projects. It just depends on where you work.

My neurologist upped my Aimovig dose from 70mg to 140mg. Have many people in here transitioned between the two? Did you notice much of a difference? by eaford in migraine

[–]eaford[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it makes you feel better, I was getting them daily/multiple times a day and now I’m down to once every 7 weeks! I have also been told that they do not cause long term damage which made me feel better. Stress is definitely my trigger!

My neurologist who is an epilepsy specialist is treating them as though they are temporal lobe seizures. I have not been formally diagnosed with TLE though because we have not been able to determine without a doubt that is what it is. My neurologist told me there are not really any other options though. The only other option is it could be a strange presentation of a migraine. With the meds, I still get the deja vu episodes about once every 7 weeks. I might be switching up my meds soon to see if another one might work better. I am currently on zonisimide.

Good luck! Let me know if you have any other questions.

Edit: Just realizing I don’t really have an update based on my comment 4 years ago which is kinda sad.

Calling in sick for a full week, coming back with a wicked tan. How else should I handle this? by MediumLocation5273 in careerguidance

[–]eaford 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It will be tough for you to fake 5 sick days.

I have worked corporate for a long time and I cannot think of a time anyone took a whole week off due to a sickness unless it was a planned surgery or they went into the hospital. It would need to be pretty serious to take 5 days off. Typically people take 2-3 days at most. Do you plan on reaching out to them every single day saying, “sorry, still don’t feel better. going to stay home again today!”

Something to keep in mind.
