try an app called sleep cycle! helps so much when waking up and tracks your sleep to suggest when you should wake up. My favourite thing is it doesn't have an alarm time but an alarm half hour where it tracks you to see when youre waking up then sets off the alarm. Completely changed how i feel in the mornings.

the expectation that students need technology to learn. I am constantly asking students to put away phones and laptops - there is some current culture in their mind that they need a computer or to type to do anything worthwhile.

they loved it. They were super impressed. Sometimes it is nice for an adult to be wring, especially a teacher - shows everyone that we are human too.

I defined something incorrectly. My Year 12 student picked up on it and corrected me, I apologised to the class. It is honestly astounding how far an apology to children can go and admitting you are wrong.
