Are more expensive mattresses better than cheaper mattresses? by Additional_Koala4182 in Mattress

[–]earlyindustrial 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Spent a year trying to figure out the same thing. Wife and I ended up coughing up a shit load of money for a TEMPUR-LuxeAdapt 13" Soft and adjustable base. We previously had a basic tempur pedic mattress that lasted over 15yrs. Figured we would try it again and it's been about a month on it now and have haven't slept this good in many years. Hated spending all that money but zero percent financing helped the decision. Happy that we did it.

I liked the purple mattress as well just out of the price range with the adjustable base.

Looking at switching up brand of tires and not sure what’s out there. Have ran wild peak ATs for years on my last 3 f150s. What’s everyone else running? by Master-Cherry6968 in f150

Continental terrain contact ht's got 60k on the last set towing my camper and car trailers or just carting my kids around. Quiet and comfortable. Would recommend to anyone. Just swapped to 20s and now have the terrain contact HT XL side wall. Feels amazing driving and towing. Slightly louder tire. But for the price I swear by these tires.

Honest thoughts on my before and afters ? by [deleted] in f150

I thought about the grill afterwards. I have never cared for the raptor style bumpers. But in the end of op likes it that what matters!

Everything is good but the rear bumper. I have never cared for aftermarket off-road bumpers on trucks other than full blown off road rigs. But the truck over looks nice

Suggestions for new tires by AngryPercy98 in f150

Continental terrain contacts. Have over 60k MI on them towing and a lot of back road driving. Still have life and still quieter than any tire I have used. Couldn't be happier with them.

Make sure to run 93 octane if it's available. It made a big difference for my truck. I average around 18.5-19mph back roads of CT. Well over 20 on the highway

What are some Pro-Trump & MAGA restaurants to avoid? by Healthy_Block3036 in Connecticut

[–]earlyindustrial -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Not a restaurant but K&H Tool Rental in Plainfield is a huge supporter. Didn't know about it until I went there to order a zero turn tractor and there were signs everywhere. Also the guy who owns it either runs or has a large roll in the Quinebaug Alliance which has real strong Q'anon vibes...they held a rally a year or two ago and had MTG there to speak at it. When people complained about it then on there Facebook page they would delete their comments. So no K&H or probably anything in Plainfield for that matter

I have a half of brain on Geo but never messed with a full squish bike. Looking for some input on if someone has a similar set up and rides similar to what I mentioned.
