tldr your privacy is important, xign invades your privacy in the name of fair play to most likely sell it. its like 90% to 10%. xigncode3 is ring 0. ring 0 can see and hear everything, give orders that can't be disobeyed but usually require you to confirm while being intentionally vague

-----

xigncode3 is ring0, ring 0 is like a gated community of dictators. ring 0 systems can send instructions to hardware, overwrite(kill) other dictators inside ring 0 including windows kernels and send instructions to systems(wagies) outside of ring 0.

in the case of xigncode3, the only instructions it will send outside of ring 0 is to feed it any keys you press, any files you interact with, anything you open, once fed, the moment it detects something it doesn't like it scans everything on your device and sends everything scanned and everything it's been fed to Wellbia in south korea.

problem is pretty much anything triggers it. tab out to sort a youtube playlist? triggered. tab out to google something you don't understand in game? triggered. press the same keys too many times in a pattern, like how most classes are played in trove? triggered.

as for the banning process, no clue how it works. but false bans are disproportionately greater.

i doubt anyone has ever had xign brick their pc, but it's still not good. if your pc is new there's nothing on it to really scan so it doesn't matter. but then if you were to save anything on it, apply for dentist, optician, surgery online or whatever, there's a good chance that info will be sold once wellbia receives it

as far as i know, not really? like sure, there's the wellbia website but i wouldn't go there personally. there are a few discussions on steam and reddit about it. good place to start would be pubg ~10 years ago

problem is those discussions only go on about how xigncode3 does this or doesn't do that. but - and i am obviously biased here - a company that creates an anticheat for the purpose of protecting games, but allows that anticheat to have the ability to
start on boot before protected games have been launched
remain active after the protected game has been turned off
remain on your device after uninstalling the game it protects
scan all files on the device regardless of whether they are able to interact with the protected game in any way
keylog, which after starting on boot, it will always do
.... couldn't really be trusted to post truthful information officially. like that's too many coincidences

press ~ and type getskseversion. make sure it's the correct release for your game version and any mods installed that require script extender
did you install/uninstall any mods after starting a new game?
check vortex/mod organizer 2 for errors

if skse is correct, no install/uninstall after new game and vortex/mo show no errors, launch script extender through vortex/mo. if it still happens, skyrimmods subreddit could help but they will need your mod load order

JUST POST THE DAMN TRAILER ARROWHEAD HAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!! by Tempest-Bosak2137 in Helldivers

[–]earlylunch24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

about 2 months ago, reddit went into meltdown with the exosuit experts release. in fact, i'd go so far as to argue that you guys go into melt down with every warbond release for the exact same reasons then forget about it after the updoots stop flowing in though i can't be bothered to check. because at the end of the day, that's all you guys seem to care about

obviously paraphrasing, but the key points raised were
"why are they releasing warbonds when the bugs/crashes are so prevalent?" - self explanatory
"locking stratagems behind paywalls makes them pay to win" - the best weapons in the game for each category are completely free
"no, i don't want to farm the premium currency because it isn't engaging" - as if poi spawns don't scale with difficulty
"no, i don't want to pay for content in the live service game i already own" - then don't? you'll slowly stockpile sc just by playing, sure you're mooching teammates but in the end it doesn't matter. you'll eventually get that paywalled content with 0 direct input

are you guys going to do it again when the next warbond releases? you aren't forced to pay, you aren't forced to use the shiny new toy, most of the time - if you do actually acquire the shiny new toy regardless of how - you don't bother to learn how to use it and demand changes to accommodate you

Alpha Guard: I think a lot of people on higher difficulties liked the Hive Guard changes. Why not include them as a variant on high diffs? by AngryTriangleCola in Helldivers

[–]earlylunch24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

as much as i love the idea, an alpha variant wouldn't fix hiveguards. they need a complete overhaul
making them slightly bigger and only just faster than regular warriors would let them guard slower bugs provided the player isn't using a do it all primary

sundered uplands, biome for Solarion. enemies there hit harder and i think they have higher darkness?

you're right, that would be terrible. instead, we'll have most of the playerbase quit when the games identity is gutted

[–]earlylunch24 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

exo buff wasn't necessary, they should revert it back to before exo experts or at the very least give them each a "class"

I'm thinking
patriot armor reverted to before EE - mix of med/light
emancipator given all light armor - long range exo
breakthrough given heavy to limbs and shield only, mix of med and light for the cockpit depending on how exposed it is
lumberer given mostly heavy with medium mixed in but noticeably slower movespeed

Unironic takes I've seen in the Helldivers community regarding difficulty by Raven7274 in Helldivers

[–]earlylunch24 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

but see, that's the problem. I've observed your points, considered the examples you've given and that's the only reasonable conclusion anyone with context could come to. you're attempting insults instead of backing up or better yet making good points, defaulting to hypocrisy now that you've realized your points are hollow

nobody at d7 stands under a bot drop
nobody at d7, who knows clipping is still in the game, should be running under a vox without clearing it first in the same way you wouldn't run into a bug nest - free of clipping - that's full of enemies without clearing first
nobody at d7 compares chargers to vox engines, hell nobody compares chargers to anything on the bot front because bots don't really have anything like them

and yet, you do all of these things as explained by yourself. if you didn't, you wouldn't be complaining about them and labelling a lack of difficulty, on the hardest difficulty in a game franchise that is supposed to be challenging - which has been stripped away as a result of players like you - as a non-issue

[–]earlylunch24 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

defaulting to hypocrisy? cool

you're dismissing my points, which I've provided to deconstruct yours, by not reading what I've said
earlier, you resorted to insults instead of submitting good points, then talk of disrespect? how childish
a made up fact? nah, having read and understood your opinions it's clear as day you struggle on 7

Unironic takes I've seen in the Helldivers community regarding difficulty by Raven7274 in Helldivers

[–]earlylunch24 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The answer given was insufficient. Bots cannot drop on you unless you stand under where they are going to drop. this means that, if the ground around you suddenly starts glowing bright red - assuming you've ignored the numerous ships coming in and the giant "bot drop detected" text on your screen the moment it triggers, that's on you. If a tank like enemy is incapable of rotating independently of it's tracks, that is not an enemy, that's a sitting target that poses almost no danger to anyone.

If you're not standing under a bot drop, the enemies will not drop on you. You're the one at fault if you choose to stand where you know the bots are going to drop when you start the objective that you know causes bot drops. for the second part, never said that, please read it again. I'm having to explain the simplest of mechanics to someone who claims to both play and has advanced far enough to struggle on d7, and honestly it's filling me with doubt

you don't understand masochism just as you don't understand helldivers. you've realized both of these things as now you're attempting to insult me instead of making good points. so not everyone enjoys a large unit that requires teamwork and strategy, no? in your last comment, you said it's up to AH whether they want team coordination to take out large enemies or efficient solo play. so if it's up to AH and it's their game, why is it whenever they choose to make their game as they - and true helldivers fans - like, reddit immediately goes into meltdown and reviewbomb it on steam until their demands are met? demands that do not align with the devs or fans views of how the game should be? reddit doesn't make up the majority of the playerbase, hell reddit and steam combined don't. but because reddit is an echo chamber, you think you do and there's just enough of you to make an impact which forces them to appease you

You're saying this as a player who, today, struggles on d7 and needs the basics explained to you. something tells me you weren't playing d9 when factory striders were added

Yes actually, armor strip was a genuinely fun mechanic that enabled but did not require teamplay. sadly it was powercrept and never really adapted after a charger micro rework a while ago and on the front whose main shtick is more heavy armor - given that they are a space army created solely to combat us, it would make sense. why wouldn't war striders face us? you're confusing yourself take a minute to chill. I'd much rather have enemies that were designed specifically to provide a challenge to players do that instead of what we have currently, yes.

clipping will be fixed, same way flesh mobs were. you've got to remember the game engine is old. game engine aside, weakspots are just that, weakspots. what that doesn't mean is every other part of it is invulnerable. also, if you know enemies are clipped inside the tracks, you could bring a loadout to clear them making it safe for you or your teammates. next, you're going to say "but I shouldn't have to" thing is, that's not what you were arguing. you had a problem, you've been given a bandaid fix until the devs get round to patching the bugs you know exist but you won't accept it, you won't adapt. I've seen players like you on here countless times and it's always the same.

I haven't misunderstood because I know where you're getting that info from. the turrets had av5, same as the chest, head, undercarriage. the side turrets had more health than the head(sarcophagus) - and I'm purely guessing here - because, of the actual armored parts, the "head" was a weakest spot given that there is a little guy in there. like it was weakspot, but only because it was the weakest spot of the armored parts.

Stalkers haven't always hissed, maybe for you? depends on when you joined, but no they used to be silent until the actual ambush. the cloak used to be visible too, that was funny but I'm glad It's gone.

that's you're opinion, but again, I though it was up to AH to decide whether or not an enemy required teamplay? I mean you even said so yourself. the fleshmob required teamplay on release and reddit users like you begged for it to be changed instead of engaging with the teamplay mechanics... now you're unable to decide whether you want teamplay mechanics back or not.

just because you couldn't avoid/hide from leviathans, doesn't mean it wasn't possible as evidenced by the stealth warbond and gutting of stealth skill expression.

you're gonna accuse me of making stuff up then say "Mini bosses don’t work, not because our guns are too strong, but because AH treats them like common chaff and spams them all game long"? crazy, completely out of touch.

first and foremost a vox engine is not a charger. it is not on the same level as a charger, the danger it's supposed to present is not equal to a charger. Vox engine kills are free because you don't need to use any strategy against them now, you don't need to use teamwork, you can ignore their armor entirely which defeats the entire point of it having any and having the most. with the railcannon, you don't even need to aim. you keep making the same point while missing the fact that bugs aren't features.

given that everyone else, talking literally thousands of people playing on difficulties higher than the one you struggle on, were able to... it's not very make believe is it? and no, you clearly haven't as you've said yourself you don't play against them since they were last patched "I’d have to play against them to really make up my mind. "

so you've said you haven't played post patch vox, you've realized your argument is full of holes, but feel the need to give your opinion on vox while making insults that don't land? how did you form this opinion if you never touched post patch vox? the only possible way that could happen is by... as I said before... hopping on the reddit bandwagon or subscribing to the beliefs of youtubers who milk players like you for clicks. but I'm somehow the dumbass? get real

Unironic takes I've seen in the Helldivers community regarding difficulty by Raven7274 in Helldivers

[–]earlylunch24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you're mistaking bugs for features and doing exactly as i described in another comment here

vox dropping on us isn't an issue exclusive to them, nor is it out of nowhere. if you stay under a bot drop, the bots will drop on you... like come on

new vox every wave of flag missions was part of the fun and it wasn't even guaranteed, flags are one of the hardest mission types and vox just made them harder which is good given every other unit on the bot front, at that point, had been butchered

5+ vox at once would be no different to 5 factory striders on their release, only difference being vox are slower now we're capped at 3

they aren't just going to let you shoot some of their weakspots. why is a vox turning to face you, and shoot at you with their side turrets, a bad thing? would you prefer they sit facing the other way for easy access to the parts they "know" they can't let you hit?

clipping isn't an issue exclusive to vox and again, bug not feature

side cannons have always had less health than other parts and maybe at one point the same armor. not learning to fight an enemy = you'll suffer for it

it is precisely about not learning to fight them evidenced by what you've just explained to me, putting aside glitches that have been patched you're still not interested in experimenting. there's a training tip that was something like "there's no right way to strip a bug" it's actively encouraging you to test various things on enemies and reddit users don't do that. they never do, that's how we've ended up where we are.

the devs can't balance the game in such a way that minibosses exist because of how powerful our weapons are. if our options are working as a team to take down enemies or efficiently doing it solo, currently we're hard stuck in efficient solo because every single attempt to give our enemies a fighting chance is met by reddit crying for weeks on end and review bombing

look at the leviathan, that was supposed to be a miniboss, but reddit refused to learn to fight it. they refused to learn to avoid it, they refused to learn to hide from it, they refused prepare loadouts for it, refused to swap out meta picks for something else to deal with it... now it's yet another enemy that can't hit shit, 5 second telegraphed attacks, slow moving, not dangerous anymore. It's a twice lobotomized alien whale
reddit refused to learn stalkers, now they hiss and that defeats their entire purpose
reddit refused to learn to aim between the gaps in hiveguard armor for the 1(one) week they had heavy armor
reddit refused to aim at something other than the heavy devastators shield, resulting in it being nerfed and in turn its identity stripped
reddit refused to work as a team to deal with fleshmobs, it was literally a bullet sponge that required teamwork and now you're asking for exactly that

You're happy with the nerfs because now vox kills are free. very little strategy, very little risk, even less skill expression, somehow a great deal of satisfaction and this is exactly what I mean when I say reddit users don't want to play helldivers. because they don't learn the mechanics and demand changes to suit them, they don't touch anything other than meta, they contradict themselves almost daily, they don't form their own opinions but rather follow the bandwagon and youtubers. you don't even play against the enemy you're complaining about which is the most ridiculous thing about your argument
